Those delinquents are very funny trying to play the Space porn book vol.2, poor leader being the only one left out, Gotta love the photos of Funabori & Takao.

Like that Takao, Ataru & Sensei at the last part. Ataru charge~!

Just saw the raw for ep. 4. Looks great but I'll post my full thoughts when the subs come out. Meanwhile, I'll write some of my first impressions

The beginning was fun, however, sadly, they also skipped several chapters from the manga.

Otherwise, I really enjoyed the episode. Another solid episode for me.

The Takao and the pit was quite good. And the game battle with Sakura is funny too. And they didn't include where Kazama said: "I guess she doesn't really hate me after all". Which pissed Takao. And they even added a part that wasn't part of the manga.

Yeah that one! At the pace they're going at now there's room to fit in that chapter as half of an episode. And they better do it, it's one of my favorites! >

Will have to check on what was missed, but I still thought the episode was pretty fun. Thought the little scene of Takao untying him was good. A quick thanks and a favor she can call in whenever

Really did enjoy the episode overall. Some nice flow and personality balance with this group now. I'd say that Takao and Kazama do balance things out rather nicely.

A good old rescue chapter, but done well. Did like Kenji snapping at the game being broken and how everyone came to help him out. Thought it was interesting to see how Takao and Roka responded to his capture. An immediate call for rescue which considered his physical well-being and uncertainty out of consideration for his pride. I'd say both of those girls are pretty likable in their own ways.

Kind of let the series sit a bit just because of when it comes out and what I've got going on, but is a fun show.

Well, I'll have to admit defeat in part here. I decided to add D-frag to my following list, but not because of the anime. It is because of the manga.

I decided to take a look at the manga chs. that mirror what has gone on up to now, found myself literally lol'ing at most every ch., and am now sold. This series is really funny, and I mean _really_ funny to me. It almost reminds me of a 21st c. chuunibyou version of the old movie "It's a mad, mad, mad, mad world".

For me the manga medium is much more effective, but the anime is a decent adaptation, I think. So, consider me onboard for now. ^^

That being said, ep 4 was pretty well done.

I somewhat regretted reading the manga, as it reduces the fun in watching the anime, though I still managed to chuckle through.

The best part for me is when "The Strongest Darkness" sacks the two guys in an instant and Kenji and Takao can only look on, dumbfounded.

Girls are strong in this series!

One thing I love about D-Frag is how the gags get carried over and expanded into something more ridiculous. And how past events or small fries are never forgotten.

Even though there's no real serious plot, the sequence of events string up together, and random things look like foreshadowing (though I'm pretty sure these are all random whims of the author) and it looks as if there's some sort of coherency to the flow. Can't for the next installation of the space porn book game and the appearance of the past student council president mentioned in this episode

I sorta feel the opposite, I couldn't quite enjoy this episode like I wanted because I knew of all the potential that was lost/skipped. Guess it makes you feel lucky that you can read the manga to get more out of it. Well I do I guess.

I'll probably go buy the manga after the anime finish airing if it doesn't sell well.

Spoiler for Manga Spoilers: They skipped Takao's punishment and a Sakura chapter. Granted, they can't be perfect and fit everything, but I'm still sad that they skipped them. Takao running away from the (fake) game club was one of my favorite moments, so it's too bad. Also, because they cut out stuff, several Takao and Kazama moments were missed. The real shame, however, is that they skipped one of the few Sakura-centric chapters in the manga. Other than the teacher, she's probably the least developed character of the club, both in the manga and the anime so far. I don't know, but maybe they'll bring it back somehow. Otherwise, I really enjoyed the episode. Another solid episode for me.

AC-Phoenix Detective Join Date: Aug 2010 Age: 36	Spoiler for Anime-Manga comparison EP 4: Changes: The clubname was actually "Game development club(temp)", which was because chitose thought she could add the name later, but never did. They didn't meet the Orchestra by chance, Water Girl riled Kazama by playing games with him, intentionally loosing and then suddenly turning the tide and telling him that she doesn't like people who are all talk. Afterwards, they went after the Orchestra Kazama knew that Roka is the strongest one prior to this. During the fight, the girls were all (including Chitose) playing around with their elements again. Something that wasn't mentioned, though still happened. Kazama and his friends took several members of the orchestra out before ending up there. Kazama took out the most of them. (I think it was 4 or so) Well all in all still a good adaption, and the real storyway would probably have taken too long. __________________ Those who forget about the past are condemned to repeat it - Santayana Sidenote: I'm seemingly too dumb for my current keyboard, so if you see the same character twice in a row, when it doesn't belong there just ignore it.
