So far so good for the final season. Looks like they're skipping alot of the SoL to but I'm ok with it since this is one of the only anime that never fails to entertain. Hopefully they get the ending right.

The show is making a smashing job of trolling me into thinking that the status quo might change and then doing nothing with it. Having Satou invite Yachiyo for drinks and then flub it at the end was gold but not as much as having "Katanashi-kun"'s glasses break from Yamada's teddy bear punch. That one was gold

This is one of the most frustrating shows for me. Everything about it is good, the voice acting is wonderful, even some of the humour is amusing. And yet it manages to be so boring for me. I guess the problem for me is mainly the developmentus interruptus: all the characters seem stuck forever in their almost-but-never-quite relationships.

Inami has been making good progress in her relationship, it's just that Katanashi doesn't realize it yet.
Nazuna is the real boss of the family, that was established last season, but she only uses her powers for good.

I said a couple of posts ago that I had reservations about this show. But one thing I have no reservations about is the cast. This is big names from top to bottom. And I've made a characters/seiyuus page (finally) showing pics of 18 characters and their seiyuus, and giving a bit of info about each seiyuu.
How do they afford such a bevy of established big-name seiyuus? Do the disks sell that well? Most shows these days try to use younger seiyuus, particularly in the roles that appear in every episode, since older seiyuus are more expensive. I knew about famous seiyuus like Fukuyama Jun (Souta), Asumi Kana (Popura), and even the three elder sisters (Shiraishi Ryouko, Hikasa Youko, and Itou Shizuka), as well as Hirohashi Ryou (Kyou in Clannad, etc.) as Yamada. But I hadn't realized that Kyouko's seiyuu, Watanabe Kumiko actually plays Keroro Gunsou in the popular family series of that name. And even Yamada's brother, at the bottom of the cast, is played by Hino Satoshi (Yuuji in Shakugan no Shana, and now starring in Overlord as Momonga). And Haruna, the middle-aged (?) lady who might be Otoo-san's wife, is played by Iwao Junko, who had a siginificant role in Evangelion, was Ceres in Ceres Celestial Legend, and was Saotome-sensei in Madoka Magica. @jdennis007 -- I agree that Inami has crept forward in her ability to deal with men, and especially with Souta. And who wouldn't like Nazuna? She's a great character, well realized. Thanks for helping me recover my optimism. On we go!

That was a fun episode and did push things forward with Satou and Yachiyo which is appreciated. Sure, no full blown confessions here but it's progress. They actually went out, had a meal, and even a bit of drama afterwards.
Yamada....well is Yamada . Guess they will move things forward a bit more with Inami next week which should be interesting.

That was a Working first for me, hating on a character. Yachiyo turning to Kazue for advice of all characters really push a button in me. At that moment, Kazue was no longer a funny character. And when Sota walked away from getting Kazue out of there, I was a bit pissed at him, too.
Otherwise, pretty happy with the developments in this episode. |

On this episode, Izaya loses his sanity over Shizuo getting close with a girl while Shinra deals with a woman who is dangerous when drunk.
Man, watching Working and Durarara at the same time can do things to people. But yay, Yachiyo and Satou finally make a step into progress!

Oh god, Satou. Huuuuuge advancement between them.....yet, I feel as though nothing has changed. Nothing at all lol. It's a shame Yamada can't get a good head petting due to Takanashi's extreme prejudice, discrimination, alienation, and racism towards her.

My word, progress! Took him FOUR YEARS in the interim to do so, but good work for Satou. Also Yachiyo's resistance is crumbling as well.
It looks like we're back to Takanashi and Inami next episode though. Let's see if Inami can increase her "no punching" streak, shall we?
