That took longer than I thought, dancing will be next week then.

Really great episode. We got Abacchio's backstory, the reveal of his stand's powers (really useful) and a damn good fight. Who could have figured out the enemy was hiding there? Really creative use of his powers.

Thought this would be an episode of Abbacchio but Bruno stole the show. It kind of feels like Stardust Crusaders when you had no idea who would save the day (well, Jotaro did save it most of the time)

That's a fitting stand for a former police officer. While he may not be straight up fighter, his ability will no doubt be useful in figuring out how other stands work.

That was a fun episode. Certainly a cool stand there for solving mysteries. And hey you don't need every guy in the main cast to be a straight up fighter. Creative use of powers makes things pretty fun.

The end of the episode was a bit odd. I get the idea that doing something is better than Abbacchio drinking himself to death in his guilt/grief. But...he just gets an offer and just goes with it? Is there motivation outside of having nothing better to do with his life behind this?

From what we saw of Bruno, he seems to go around helping the community when he's not following orders. Maybe Abbachchio felt the desire to do something good for the community again.

Abbachio is literally Archer, just because he knew the world as disappointing as that, it won't truly stop him from being an ally of justice.

Episode 7 is here and oh God, that Jojo style dance is so smooth and catchy. I love it.

Well done for animating that David Production. Sex Pistols is also a very strange and unique Stand.

Sex Pistols is definitely a unique Stand. 6 individuals each with their own personality. They're very useful but Hol Horse's Stand was a lot more practical.

still the number 4 isn't label on one of them because Misa hate that number. is it because Araki hates part 4?

It's a common superstition in Asia because 4 sounds the same as "death" in Chinese. I don't know if Italians have a similar thing or if Mista just don't like any unlucky number from everywhere.

Araki loves part 4, especially Rohan who has been the focus of a lot of one shots over the years. The current part (8) in fact has tons of references to part 4. That's all I can say without spoiling.

Why he chose that number is as erneiz_hyde said.

That dance sequence, I just...it was so random even by Jojo standards but yet so amazing that I'm at a loss for words for how to talk about it. I'm almost kind of disappointed Giorno, Bruno, and Abacchio didn't join in

.

Looks like Abacchio still hasn't been won over completely by Giorno yet that he still won't let Giorno see his Stand, although it's pretty clear Giorno's growing on him

.

Doesn't look like we'll be getting the rest of the team's origins in their focus episodes, but it was nice to better get to know Mista nonetheless and see him in action nonetheless

.

Sex Pistols seems like a mix of Hol Horse and Shigechi's Stand's, although while the redirecting bullets aspect seems useful, managing all those different Stand personalities has got to be a hassle

I also remember reading somewhere that Josuke was his favorite JoJo, or at least the one he identified with the most.

Italians do have a very similar thing, but it's the number 17, and amazingly enough it's considered unlucky for the same reason: it's thought to be related to death.

This superstition dates back to the roman civilization, where the number 17 was written as XVII which is the anagram of VIXI (literally: "I lived", hence I'm dead).

Even today after thousands of years superstitious people try to avoid the number 17, and yes there are a few people in Italy that are very superstitious.

That being said, Mista having problems with the number 4 doesn't make any sense.

I guess it would have been a lot harder for Araki to create situations where the number 17 comes up.
