If it did then these incidents like the one in AZ, what's happening now in Mexico, the rising violent crime in China, and the rise of knife-crime in other countries wouldn't be an issue. I've seen many of the arguments in favor of gun control, and have even supported a few of them (I used to support the Brady Bill/Background checks). But facts are undeniable, and no one can change the reality that these laws haven't done what they were designed to do. Instead all they have done is hurt law abiding citizens and made them unarmed targets of wackos and criminals. Quote:
They make me sick. I would like to see these Westboro people get a taste of their own hate in the form of protest.

So as some have said, they are the ultimate trolls. They will attend gay pride rallies carrying signs that says "God Hates Gays" and they will loudly proclaim "God Hates Gays!" and then they will look at you. It's very calculated to not cross the line, as they aren't technically directing any hate at you. They are simply stating what God supposedly says, and you can't take God into court. But they are hoping the effect makes you mad enough to respond in a way that they can sue you for. As always, the best response to a troll is to ignore them. Unless you are prepared to kill each and everyone of them and slam a "God Hates Posers" sign into their dead corpses. |

California Budget Revamp, WOAH NELLY!
Dude.....
Has anyone seen what DEMOCRAT Jerry Brown is calling for in State Budget cuts? http://www.sfgate.com/cgi-bin/articl...6RON.DTL&tsp=1 It's brutal, yet kinda sorta.....makes sense. Couple that with Tax extentions, and he's sure to piss off EVERYBODY (good job). This guy was called MOONBEAM? If not for the taxes (which frankly is the only real way to ensure funding IMHO) He sounds downright TEXAN. |

Oh my god I don't even
That guy is a fucking moron. Cut the shit out of the colleges, but ignore K-12? Do we really need more hamburger-flippers and walmart employees? It's already hard enough to get a college degree these days, stop making it fucking harder. I'm already going to have to split my classes between two different campuses (in two different cities) because of the fucking budget cuts. My college doesn't even teach C++ anymore because of this lunacy! And K-12 is fucking useless. It's babysitting service. It doesn't teach your kids shit, nor does it get them a good job. Hell, people with master's degrees are having a hard time finding work right now, much less folks with nothing beyond a high school diploma!

Well I guess it makes little sense to leave K-12 off the table,
Otherwise the points you made are interesting but almost veer off on another debate entirely. A caller on Southern California Public Radio said that the government itself needs to slash benefits to state workers. Another said that they need to cut loopholes for corporate fatcats. I think Brown will have to cut deeper into higher level state service benefits before this gets passed, it sounds scary and kind of plausible but I bet many people will just vote it down anyways. This is gonna be real center stage for the next 5 years. Quote:

More cuts to the the colleges. Damn I still have at least two more years to go. Luckily, I'm not in a UC. I guess I better start praying to my friends in UCLA, UC Berkeley, UC Davis, etc.
Brown should be more specific in what areas to cut in the college level.
