I could completely believe it. They did just reveal a nation of squirrels kind of out of nowhere. Though could still be the national representative for a nation that's pretty far off. Maybe they heard about all the hero summoning going on and wanted to get some information about what was up?

That's a good question. She might be like the Color girls, a part of a kingdom. Though it would be nice though to see a kingdom full of leggy ponytail girls

Actually come to think of it we really don't know a whole lot about the world Dog Days is set in in terms of other races and countries, do we? Or even the history thereof? Or even other continents for that matter. Hmm. :\

I believe the nations in Dog Days don't consist of one sole animal type. Galette for example, while the inhabitants are mostly lions, there are some different animals too, such as Genoise members. With Jaune and Noir being a breed of cats, and Vert being a rabbit. Yukikaze is also a fox despite her affiliation with Biscotti. But well, IIRC her origin is quite special too.

Back in season 2, in the 5th episode, Nanami and Genoise members goes to a certain city to investigate a thievery where they meet Isuka (Brioche's brother). That city's inhabitants are all-rabbit.

so I think it won't be surprising if there's a certain "horse city" in Pastillage too.

Yes, Yuuki is a different beast from the others (no pun intended).

As regards individuals in nations, yes...I remembered the individual exceptions, like Vert, the maid, etc., and of course the possibility of the new horse(?) chara in the squirrel land of Pastillage.

But I do not remember the city from ep 5 being filled with rabbit folk. I remember mostly cat folk, one of the cow folk, one of the dog folk, even one of the sheep folk...but not rabbit folk. The bandits stealing clothes were actual monster rabbits that took on the form of glowing rabbit folk weapon wielding children if I remember right?
