Matsumoto is a vice captain, and she's limited to 1/5 power in the living world. Chad should be at least, what, 3-4 times more powerful than her, but it sure doesn't show during that fight.

Also, Ichigo/Kira vs. Mr. Metal(I really can't remember any of their names). Ichigo without his zanpakutoh is far stronger than three vice captains with shikai. He should be massively more powerful than Kira, and with Kira at 1/5 power he's absolutely nothing compared to Ichigo. It's true that Kira's zanpakutoh had a natural advantage against that Doll, but if Kira had the speed to even be able to fight with that guy then Ichigo should have killed him in seconds.

I think the simplest way to sum up all those situation is for the sake of drama when its hard to come by in the fillers. Ichigo's steady ascend to power had been in cryogenic state since the filler started. The fact is, not all of us are willing to see it that Ichigo really had been downsized frequently in many occasions.

But meh, for the sake of arguing, let's see... well I don't at all like the concept of classifying everyone in "levels", as it tends to get really inaccurate. Chad's power is ALL in his arm/energy attack, and that's what he's been doing ever since SS... I see no inconsistancies there.

As for Ichigo vs that metal thing, I recall speed not being an issue at all, because Ichigo DID slice that thing up good(heck, even Hichigo did a number on it), but it regenerated. Kira only defeated it because of his sword's ability, not because he's somehow stronger than Ichigo in that ep.

I don't think so...I mean Kariya is punching the bankai sword in the preview, something I don't even think Byakuya could do...Now clearly Aizen is stronger than all these bastards but Kariya has some hidden power for sure considering he's been drinking human souls like apple spritzers all arc (and showed just a small portion of his power when beating Ishida's crush)...Man I want Ichigo to beat that Zenpach-hater too in Bankai form to show him they are not on the same level...They would be great...I expect this final fight to drag atleast 2 more eps as I said it will be Ishida who has the final word on EVERYTHING as this arc concludes....

...BUT, I don't think the arc's over(from the episode titles in the filler thread). I'm pretty sure the other Bound will meet their end fighting Captains in SS, Kenpachi having a decent battle with Ichinose(HELL YEAH!!!), and either Ishida(somehow), or Ichigo whooping on Kariya.

Well I meant 2 more eps until or beyond Kuwabara *cough* Ishida opens the portal to demon-world *cough* soul society...Bleach has alot of suprises to me though...Episodes sometimes end up having the results I predict but they get there in different ways...I wouldn't be shocked if we even see "Hollichigo" in the next couple eps, but yeah a SS free-for-all SUPER-BATTLE sounds nice to end what has been a good arc which if I didn't have an internet connection I would have never thought anything but, "These are some good eps of BLEACH I am watching"...

90 ep = 90 weeks (not counting all those holidays where they skipped a week or two)

90 weeks divided 52......it will take u almost 2 years from now to catch up......by then we the sub people will be way deep in vayzard arc.......hopefully...

that's if they air it weekly......if they air the series daily....it would be less agony for you

i saw a spoiler with byakuya picz using normal human clothes earlier in this thread. Is that mean that the captains will go down to human world too? (since the opening credit show hitsuyaga and some other captains and vice-captains dressed up on human clothes)?

Oh that guy's definitely PWNable. Though he might stay alive long enough to take control of a Shinigami(which one of our heros will most likely have to fight). He's cirtainly not a good fighter himself(if at all), so if that don't happen, he'll most likely be taken out next.

That's from the OP. I doubt that'll actually happen, at least anytime soon. Shinigami get drawn in human clothes all the time anyway.

Although I think it may be a HUGE mistake they'll probably air Bleach once a week...[as] should air it atleast 3 times a week since it has so many eps...But if they choose to air it like Inuyasha (where they have to test the market before they order new eps) I know I won't be watching it religiously...

But, doesn't the OP usually forecast what might happen in future episode? just like the beginning of the filler. The OP has ririn, nova, and cloud in stuffed animal form even though the episode hasn't reach to that point yet. So don't you think there will be a posibility(ies) for the captains to come to human world sometimes in the future episode of this bounto arc?

Oh, Ichinose. I thought you meant Mabashi (stupid self didn't see "Shinigami" there). Though he needs to get drug out to the street and shot as well, IMO.

Now that's some wierd fanmade "rule" that don't hold any logical sense at all. Those "fillers" are just normal episodes/arcs that so happen to be placed in between manga arcs and for the most part, not done by the manga artist(though rumors about Bleach's fillers denying most of that rule are everywhere)

cuz from what i observed, the OP often times give out certain sneak peek for future episodes. They did it every time they entering a new arc. for example, few episodes before SS arch, they already start showing some of the captains on the OP, even though ichigo hasn;t meet byakuya and renji for the first time.

Man, great episodes but some of the fight animation was kinda bad IMO. I really think they overdid the rolling animation as well lol. Kariya-sama must be really strong or something to be able to just grab zangetsu no problem! Can't wait till the next episode. BTW what was up with the shinigami golden lol.

Nah, the "SS people dressed in real-world clothes" images are just that, random images drawn by the animators, sometimes even COPIED from the manga. Case in point, that image of Matsumoto in that hot dress sitting in a bar...that was from a chapter (i.e. a title page) in the manga.

As for Byakuya's picture, I guess the animators did their job, seeing how all the "Byakuya fangirls" have reacted!

This was a decent episode that'll lead into the battle between Ichigo and Kariya. Looking forward to it.
