at least the fillers are getting better

i can't wait to see Kenpachi beat the spit out of Ichinose... that will be the highlight of this arc.... that and maybe if they show Matsumoto kill that dirty old man with the fish....

so that shot makes Aizen look frickin' awesome! that's not fair... Ichimaru's the villain who's supposed to look cool, not dorky Aizen!

poor hitsugaya has been victum of owned by aizen syndrome and a has a mild case of renji-lose-every-fight-ism. People really dont give him enough credit. I think that pic of aizen indicates this arc will close not too long from now.

truth is his a scrub with bankai with no experience, he was doomed to lose. He acts topshit and stuff, but his a scrub, i dont like the attention he gets in the anime or manga. There are other deserving characters that should get sum attention.

you know i find it sad he can pretty much beat ichimaru but loses to a VC seems kinda backwards there. losing to aizen was a given but come on now.

Hitsugaya just hadn't unloaded yet. He would've won.

Zaraki vs Ichinose should be fun. Wonder if he'll even have to lose the eyepatch.

Stop griping about the fillers. This arc's better than the manga is right now.

Gin's a puss. He's the guy who's so obviously the bad guy, you almost think he isn't.

Death God guide was great, though. Best since Soi Fong offered Yoruichi a valentine.

it was never shown he beated ichimaru, ichimaru wasnt even takin it seriously and ichi broke hitsus release like its nothing.

What episode were you watching? Hitsugaya had Gin outclassed in every way. The fight only ended ambiguously because Gin took the low road and went after Hinamori.

even without hinamori there, that shinsou wouldnt have bended towards her, but gone straight at hitsu.

Zaraki vs Ichinose would be goodly...the killnig intent from ichin and the "i auto pwn you" from zaraki

In case you didn't notice, I dropped it. No sense arguing with someone who named himself after one of the characters involved.

I suppose the Zaraki/Ichinose fight can't be as good as the Zaraki/Ichigo fight, but it should be fun. I guess this is where we find out if Ichinose worked his way up to Bankai in his absence from the Court of Pure Souls.

Good simple episode, but what I don't get is why people are saying that Hitsuyuga lost, all they did was clash swords once and then their fight was ended from an interruption. Nobody released shikai nor bankai.

The way everyone suddenly met up was kinda lame. Of course everyone also turns away from Ichinose like he wasnt there to begin with after interrupting a fight. Whats up with that?

hi no ken Jebus Senior Member Join Date: Jun 2004	Episode 97 Discussion Thread Spoiler: -hitsugaya receives information about the bount movements so he decides to check it out -shunsui and co are overseeing the recontruction of the building that was destroyed when mayuri shows up and figures something out -meanwhile ichigo wakes up dreaming about exploding eggs, uryuu continues to question rantao he tells her about yoshino and then she goes on about she must have been a copy of her since the bount use special modified souls -back to mayuri he figured out that the intruder was ichinose and he was the one who was messing with his data and cause all the commotion a while back -back to ichigo and co they part ways with rantao she says she needs to prepare -hitsugaya, matsumoto, and renji end up near the camp according to the information but they notice something is wrong since the enemy numbers are few -preparations for kariya's assault are complete ichinose notices the shinigami approaching so he asks kariya to go on ahead he'll handle it -hitsugaya ends up at the camp and takes on ichinose, before hitsugaya loses yet again ichigo and uryuu show up followed by orihime and chad -back in seireitei the bount approach 2 gates, after taking out the guardian the locals use some homemade device to pry open the doors and begin the attack which ends the episode -this week's cup is matsumoto handing out her souvenirs to the female shinigami association -preview for next week looks like it's kenpachi time and this week's character is not really mysterious Please do not discuss anything past episode 97, or else you risk a ban.
