Seriously, Natsume Yuujinchou series is THE best anime series of all time (at least for me).

Same here! Natsume and Gintama have definitely been my top two for years.

Can't wait for it, the film was already in theaters when I went to Japan last month, but my hectic schedule prevented me from seeing it. Absolutely stoked for this.

Finally got a chance to see this. And yeah...it's Natsume. In every great way it's just a perfect way to make a Natsume movie. No doubt that some stories just work best in this way. When that ending song kicked in it really hit that nostalgic feeling.

This is such a great franchise. It does such a great job of hitting the right emotional beats. You get a bit of drama, exploring Natsume's character growth, a little touch of action, and a feeling of bittersweet satisfaction by the end.

Funny thing that the movie did much better in China than in Japan and it also did decently in other counties.

Really had a blast watching it in cinema last september. Really want to buy the blu ray, but kinda short on money right now, guest I'll just buy some second hand copy when the price has gone down.

That was a really nice movie. Classic Natsume. Was the story anime original or was it in the manga? I found it a bit odd that pretty much every recurring character showed up in it, so I suspect the former, although it could be the latter with some adjustments made to it.

The mini Nyanko-sensei were cute. Even Natsume had to admit it
