Only 12 episodes and with all those subplots that won't be resolved at all in the last episodes. Will we get a game that follow this anime or something like that, or will we just get a "life goes on" kind of ending?

BTW, all that Odium/Audium build up from the previous episode for nothing, but on the bright side, this episode was more lighthearted so it opens up the possibility of a happier resolution of the problems.

There might be more than one season since it's a card game anime... Depending on the reception they might continue it if it can still be continued after episode 12.

Did anyone else notice how in one scene Ayase and Phierte played with their hair exactly the same way. Earlier someone mentioned the physical similarities between them, and someone else mentioned that the white world was from the future.

Talk about an anti-climactic ending to the invasion. "You're not having our town." to "We give up!" Oh no soldiers, not like they couldn't blast the hell out of those guys or anything. Just seemed a weak way to end things. You kind of noticed those guys were there when you jumped onto a stage surrounded by soldiers to start with.

Yeah I (and probably several others too) brought that up a while ago.
I found her taking especially Ayase as a role model a bit strange.

And I still think she might be Ayase's mother or Ayase in the future.

Yeah, especially since Z/X come from the future and we know that Angels are former humans that ascended.

I assumed Fierte watched off-screen first and had started imitating by the time she was on screen.

I don't think the Z/X angels are too worried about the deadly sins. My first impression of the angels as a group was that they were all arrogant.

Was a nice chance to get Ayase's backstory more clearly shown. Not surprising that lunatic angel was behind the slaughter of her village. Naturally the best way to cover an accident is a massacre...

Honestly was glad when Ayase did have her comeback toward Misaki. No offense, but Gar doesn't have much input on what Ayase does with her life. He failed to stop that massacre, saving one kid doesn't erase that. Certainly doesn't give him or Misaki the position to tell Ayase how she should go ahead and live from here on out. A bloody path that Ayase decided to walk on, but it's hers. Whether she gets off or continues on is ultimately her call. If they don't like it then they can stop her and Sieger by force.

Not that I think going on a slaughter attacking any angel they come across was the right thing. Sad to see Ayase start off how she did, getting sick from the killings and then slowly getting used to it. Still kind of hope she gets to take down that evil angel. Maybe someone else will, but at least it'd be nice for her to hit one legitimate target that was involved.

Kind of odd that I'm being supportive of the brutal revenge side, but something about Misaki and Gar just annoyed me. Maybe the idol/magazine model/whatever she is, can talk after her family gets massacred.

I still kind of find it odd that everyone is relaxingly working with the people who invaded their city using military force. Do they just not care anymore about that? Well this is the main character who was more focused on not leaving his job early than helping his friends out in a life or death situation...

Kobe can't do anything because the White World didn't help them and they are vastly outnumbered by the invaders. Mikado's group didn't shoot anyone and everyone able to continue on with their daily lives(maybe feel more secure that the army is there).

Though seems like more s*** going on now that Mikado threatens to destroy the city depending on something he discovered and this Type II that looks like a combination of Rigel and Azumi.
Don't know how she will be involved.....maybe they want to replace Rigel with the Type II.

Personally I like the tags every now and then. Good way to find where the discussion for an episode starts with a series that is all piled into one thread .

I just find it funny that we went from the whole "we'll fight you to keep Kobe to....well let's help them find Audium. Not like we need to repel this invading force or anything." I mean I get the situation isn't one where they have many options, but they just don't seem to care about the fact that they have no options.

Kind of wonder what Mikado is bothered about. Though I frankly wouldn't be surprised if he talks about destroying cities as a sick joke.

Feels like the plot just randomly jumps around in this series. Going from Audium, to invasion, to Ayase's story to this situation with Rigel. Curious to see what this Type II business is all about and what'll happen next week.

Not so long ago, they were all one nation of Japan. The Red "invasion" is, from a certain point of view, just the SDF coming in and doing their job.

Ayase's character is very fascinating to watch. I get to know what's her past looks like and how she gets her own Z/X device as she re-meets the boy that saved her life during a all-out attack in Nara. I get to feel what she thinks and that's how it makes a lot of interesting sights in her. It's true that she acts like a cold woman because of revenge though I expect her to show other emotions besides feeling lonely. The ending indicates there might be a war between different Z/X cards but we'll see where it goes. The show continues to being a slipper hit, I love the characters and how the story goes on, it would be a shame it end so early and I wouldn't mind if it gets more.

Looser teamingl-up with winer is standart anime trope (and don't forget he already got friendly with Ayse who is pretty much serial murderer) . Only difference is that for once it 's not protagonist who won....
