well... it seems that some people with the "D" in their name are hiding it. Like Gold Roger which is in fact Gol D. Roger... then what about Whitebeard? Could he also be a D "member"? Edwar D. Newgate ! its just a guess but it could be true...

Yo guys,
i was wondering, when luffy meets that guy who dose the ice moves (can remember name!!!.....right before the water 7 acr). That guy said something to luffy (cant remember exact) that luffy was alot of trouble like his grandfather...... Now this might sound dumb but, thinking about there names Monkey D Luffy and Gold D Roger....could they be related?? This has got me thinking....and my brain aint to great at that.....and i wanna find out.....so what you guys think?

As you probobly should know there are already 5 known "d" characters
Luffy, Roger, Ace, Teach and Sauro

And if your talking about Ao-kiji than yes it's true that he mentinoned it.

.....WHAT!!!! There are 5 "D" characters! i only know about luffy, ace, and roger.....who are the other 2?? there in the manga aint they....

Edit: lol ok blackbread has a d...and the gaint....is that the little garden arc?

i dont read the manga

i started with the anime, and i dont wanna read from the start....unless if any of you guys can tell me what chapter it is when there up to the water 7 arc....plus i wouldnt know where do download one piece manga.....

Sir_Croc- interesting as it might be, i think you are looking a little too much into this.
There is no evidence at all, which suggest's that Dragon is a 'D'. That doesn't rule out his connection with Roger or Luffy/Ace etc..

ohh just saw the episode with the Robin reading the Stone Poleglyph and the chef of the Shandia even said that he look's like Gol D. Roger.
I just wonder when Draon comes back he is the most mysterious character.
we had only 3 or 2 episodes with him.

Just a crazy thought but...

What if Saulo is Luffy's grandpa? It could make since... since Ao Kiji said that he dealt with "Luffy's grandpa" and the only available info is that Ao froze Saulo, a member of the D family. We dont know if Ao Kiji had anything to do with Gold Roger yet.

Saulo might have had 2 (or more) sons : Roger and Blackbeard

Also, what if Ace and Luffy are only half brothers?
They did grow up together, thats a fact. But between Gold Rogers execution and Luffy's age...might be impossible. But with Ace's age, HE could be Roger's son. And Blackbeard might be Luffy's father, and not know it.

As I said...just a crazy thought.

i dont know, blackbeard dont seem like a farther too me, he did try to attack luffy when they was on the knock up stream soo yeah.....

If Luffy was Blackbeard's son, BB would have known.

I do not see that as very likely though.

I really cannot see Sauro being Luffy's Grandfather. I mean, that Guy is a Giant. I really can't see it happenning.

You may be correct Sinned, Aokiji was talking about Luffy's Grandfather and said that he gave him a hard time. Saulo is the closest guy that Aokiji was talking about being close to Luff's Grandfather. I believe it. I do not think that Luffy and Gold Roger were related.

I also believe that the Will of D. Means The Will of Dreams!!!

You guys instead of speculating watch or read the manga and you find out that Monkey. D. Dragon is luffy's father and admiral Garp is his Grandfather if they were related it would go far back into history not just some1's father its gonna be like gol.d rogers great grandfather or something like that will be connected to monkey.d.Garp's great great grandfather
