Anyone heard if this one is gunna get licensed anytime soon? Sorry if this was already stated, but when I went to go look for the tracker on the main page it wasnt there =/. That wont stop me though

Tenjou Tenge is one of those series that has Geneon USA on the opening credit, so it's still on the gray line wether it's licensed or not.

Wow! That was an unusual reaction. "Concept of ki transmission" isn't the same for each and every action oriented show. Asking question for clarification is an ideal way to get into a new series. In Pathy's case she wasn't even looking for an answer to all of her questions anyway. Next episode should provide the answers on it's own. I presume we all need our sugar to rid our crankyness. I am off to get my regular serving.

The series probably is going to consist of no more than 13-26 episodes. A rapid progression of the plot is evident to this series, so the usual introduction to set up the concept of ki/chi/power are being skipped. Episode by episode these notions are being revealed. Only trouble now is waiting, or read-up on the manga.

JUST FINISHED watching Fight 4. Ahh!!! too tired, but anyways I really liked this episode. As for the manga chapters, it goes from chapter 7 to chapter 8. I am going do a rough translation of what happened in this episode.

The episode was manly about Nagi's training and trying to master the "Reverse Striking" Technique Aya was teaching him. Also, we get to see Bunshichi and Mitsuomi. Mitsuomi sounded badass, which was cool. Then the "Fight of the Week" where Sagara takes on Ryuzaki. I thought this animation sequence was beautifully done as we watch Ryuzaki get a lesson it the art of wrestling. Sagara messed the poor guy over pretty badly, and then using the....you guessed it German Suplex!! Damn, I wouldn't want to be on the receiving end of that one.

Then the story was shifted towards Aya, Maya, and Nagi. Aya wanted to know what went on between Nagi and Maya the night that they trained. She talked to Maya about it, which she commented that she may indeed "fall" for Nagi, but she was "joking". So Aya used her Dragon's Eye to find out, which was something she didn't want to see, cursing her unique ability wishing she never had it at all.

I left out the details on purpose, so from this information, if you read the manga, you can get a jist of what happened pretty much. If not, this should be enough to wet your appetite for this episode. =)

As for the edits, of course the "Most" Ecchi scene in the beginning of the manga was toned down. For the people whom haven't read the manga, the scene took place in the hot springs at night where Chiaki-San and Aya were talking about Nagi and then Chiaki proceeded to suck Aya's nipples!!!! Oh she played with the vagina too, which they left in the anime. I wasn't disappointed since the ecchiness overall has been toned down throughout the series.

Also, Masataka meets with Emi at the school, which didn't take place in the manga, which thus slows to Bunshichi and Mitsuomi talking about the two new students. Overall, I thought the episode was great, as alot was changed around and a few details were left out, but not too noticeable and some scenes were re-arranged with respects to the manga.

For the next fight, looks like we are going straight to the infamous bowling alley brawl, as Maya and Emi start to fight and Masataka is surrounded a hundred guys. Hmm.....I think the series maybe 13 episodes.....if not the anime may catch up to the manga. In any case, I can't wait to see Fight 5!!!

AnimeOne has ep1 out on their site, but it's not listed here at Animesuki. Yet Tenjou Tenge is not listed in the license list, so I'd assume that Geneon hasn't yet affirmed or sold american copyrights. So then, why is it not available here at Animesuki? Just wondering. After all, I remember hearing that Geneon doesn't absolutely hold license to every Japanese show they co-produce or sponsor. It gives them a much stronger chance of getting it if they want to bring it here, but that doesn't mean they will, or that someone else won't get there first. So, Geneon's having produced TT or any OTHER film shouldn't mean much. I'm just wondering about this. Thx.

I'm italian and since in our country Tenjou Tenge and all the new anime series are in project for 2030 -.-, many groups are workin on them.
Oki, now I'm doin' TenTen but some words in fansub and also in the eng manga are still in japanese, but i would like to put in a note the meaning
Hakka Sou Dou Shyou ----anyone knows the meaning?
