In any case, do you think Mikitty's can go back to her younger appearance. I mean look at Maou and Alsiel. When they gathered enough magic, they went back to the original appearance. Considering Mikitty's knowledge of the Maou's and Yuusha's circumstances, she might actually be from their world. Wouldn't be nice if that were the case.

I'm a big fan of Emi. Yes, she is still caught up in a reactive-tsun mode, but in fact, this is what makes her really interesting. She is a complex character who shows very different behavior towards different people, and who strongly grapples with her hatred towards Maou. Which isn't only hilarious to watch for me, it also gives her a potential for development which sets her apart from the rest.

Compare her with Chiho, for example - a character who is universally liked (I love her, too). Her development is almost complete the way I see it. She will not fundamentally change her opinion of Maou, she's pretty much hardwired. What sets her apart from most annoying anime moeblobs is that she's actually trying and to some degree succeeding in _expressing_ her love - even though it mostly just goes above Maou's head. She is honest, caring and stacked - what's not to like? However, I don't see much lasting potential in her.

Emi on the other hand is fighting hard to reconcile her deeply ingrained hatred with the fact that Maou has now repeatedly shown kindness towards humans. And she is not so one-dimensial to just ignore this fact (it's merely a still-active bite reflex), she has enough perception and self-reflection to recognize the mismatch. This is long-range development gold. Add to the fact that I love _intense_ girls as long as their intensity is tempered by self-awareness, and there's no wonder that I really dig her.

So, Emi is central to this show's success, and I'd argue that she is the pinnacle character. I'm watching and loving this show mostly for her

Hisako Yoko is such an awesome VA. From the way Emi swallows up the last drop of water like an old man to the way she gasps in pain after taking a nose dive are all so hilarious.

Emi has finally realized she has turned into a stalker. Even so, she still can't give up on monitoring Maou. I love how the first she did after meeting Suzuno was compare her breasts to hers lol. She must have grown really insecure after meeting Chiho. Her misunderstanding of Suzuno's true intention will surely lead to some great comedy later down the line, especially since Chiho has also jumped to the same conclusion (can't blame her. I mean, a heart shaped bentou...). Her first impression was actually the right one... should have sticked to that.

Suzuno is not the only person they have to look out for. There's another enemy in town, and he seems pretty dangerous. He can apparently nullify/drain magic.

That's what you get for being a violent tsundere. The whimpering made it sound like it really hurt... man, Hikasa is great in that show. Even more than usual.

Another fun episode, although these last 2 episodes did not have the same punch as the first 5.

Judging by the previews, it looks like another character is showing up next episode.

Good episode, heavy does of comedy this time around. I wonder if Emi is aware of her actions, she always say when she and Maou are together they always get into an argument. Don't Emi usually provoke the argument in the first place, its often Maou's place where the arguments begins with her trying to keep tabs on them. Also, I think she should really apologize to Maou for that knee and punch to the face soon.

The thought crossed my mind but I doubt that was him. Ashiya and Maou called him a hikkikomori so he probably never leaves the house. We're talking about the guy who couldn't even be bothered to his PS vita. Plus, the man who attacked Emi looked taller and displayed powers she had never seen before. If it had been Lucifer, he would have ran away instead of confronting her.

You seem to forget that they're still enemies.

At best, they're on the shaky terms.

He did not seem to be in any pain, so I doubt that is what made him leave. Hopefully they'll bring it up in the next episode.

So Ashiya can't bear the summer heat? It's obvious that Emi misuderstood what the new girl said about being interested in Maou, too. SFC, okay.
