There's really nothing stopping someone from bringing a Master Grade or Perfect Grade kit into a Gunpla Battle.
The main question for many Gunpla Builder/Fighters trying to do so is: can they afford to do so? Considering that this is a sport that sees Gunpla physically damaged and repaired on a constant basis, there's an element of financial upkeep in maintaining Gunpla battle ready. And obviously, larger, more complex Gunpla would be more expensive and time consuming to acquire, build, and maintain than 1/144 kits. Besides, Master Grades and Perfect Grades are larger targets, and thus easier to damage in the first place. Thus, you need lots of money to keep an MG or PG running in constant battle, which isn't really good for someone's wallet.

No one else thinks the giant zaku might be part of the field conditions to eliminate participants faster? Anti-climatic method but 90 guys fighting on a freaking planet and outer space is going to take a long time.

the VIP did smiled at the sight of Titan Zaku...
so it is possible... after all others might go for Nils methodology... stay low profile... as long as the huge mecha is not exclusive to their possition and others might also appear in other places then it is fine or part of PPSE but if not... that's just... |

Definitely the best episode so far. So many highlights:
- Nice to see Star Build Strike's weaknesses being exploited. After the overpowering performance last episode, Star Build Strike was quickly outmatched by smarter opponents who show that without the energy absorbing ability, Star Build Strike is just a normal kit, looks it will need some upgrades soon. - Compared to Star Build Strike, Kampfer Amazing is purely performance based instead of relying too much on gimmicks. I'm looking forward to what else it can do. - Wing Gundam Fenice's real debut fight was quite a let down. It definitely lacks the wow factor that its rivals all possess. And its Meteor Hopper was almost useless. Can you even bring that to a one on one fight? - NTR Squad was hilarious. And GAW suicide charge. And WTF Giant Zaku!? This show is awesome

Re-watching the episode made me realize how slow I am to see that if it wasn't for Yuuki bowing out to take over as Meijin, Sei and Reiji wouldn't be in the World Tournament.
And in episode 10, that invisibility cloak used by the GINN would prove beneficial in the Battle Royale. |
