Long time no posting of any report here. BOA 2018 is a big anime that convention happened last year for two days, Aug 25-26. I attended day two.

This report is very very late. As in almost 1 year late! Not sure if people I've taken pic of will still be able to see this, because they might have changed their fb accounts already. Anyway, the reason for the delay is I got sick with chronic headaches that won't go away. Still slowly able to finish sorting the pics, and now everything is done.

Have written things that happened on a notebook, so I can still write clearly everything that happened that day. ^^

Awesome report, it looks like you had a lot of fun there.
The anime you were asking about is Koe no Katachi (A Silent Voice) from Kyoto Animation.
You can tell just how much Kyoani is loved by the number of cosplays from their works.
I'm glad to see that Cells at Work is still popular, a second season is supposed to come out soon, but the timing is still tba.

yeah, Cells at Work is rather popular here. The report is from last year. But this year I also attended BOA 2019 (report not yet posted), I still saw Cells at Work cosplay there. Maybe because Platelets are easy enough to cosplay, you just need a blue shirt, boots, and a long wig. ^^

Hmm. . . when favorite Hololive members are concerned, I watch all of them, but if I had to narrow the list down, the one's I watch most often are Suisei, Towa, Aqua and Marine, I've also been watching a lot of Mumei from the EN branch of late.

i dont see a more recent thread for cosplay without doing some necro stuff. i recently got a Shirayuki Mizore cosplay wig, Yona of the Dawn wig. got a shirayuki cosplay coming in but probably wont use the skirt as it might be a bit small. got a very similar pleated skirt for that purpose or to just wear around the house. planning to get a Yona cosplay though im waiting for sizing stuff before ordering it. i also did order a Yugiri cosplay arriving. its more of a crossplay on my part.

the 2 wigs came 90% prestyled, Yona more so than Mizore. got the Mizore wig styled mostly amateurish (first attempt) got a bunch of stray synth hairs out of control. far from pro but i got its in a fairly similar style. havent gotten around to styling the Yona bangs.

still very much a newb but hopefully i can go to a con when things open up...
