How is she "basically a copy of Junko"? What is a "proper first rate villain"? Why does she need to be that? I do not understand why you are so against the role she plays.

It's especially the 'copy of Junko' part seems weird since the story goes out of its way to tell us that she is in fact, not Junko.

Her role here maybe, but I'd say Monaca's status a villain had more identity to it in Another Episode since she was less about trying to be Junko in that game and more like Junko's most obsessively devoted and influential follower.

I even read that they were intending to make Monaca a despicable character that everyone would hate and want to defeat, possibly to contrast Junko herself who is absolutely endearing and adored by the fandom despite all the horrific things she does.

After this episode i don't think Monaca still despised by the fandom
Monaca had entered Junko level now
She is now super duper adored twisted loli.
In fact i am thinking to hug her now

Yea now that i seen it... yea, a bit disappointed. Really wanted monaca to have a bigger role. Afraid af of who they might kill off from danganronpa 1.

"I'm sick of Earth, so I'm going to become a NEET in space!" One of the best lines I have seen this year in anime. xD

So she is not the game perpetrator? Why did she then decided to help Naegi? Even if she wanted to let him fall into despair she gave him more hope in the end, never-mind saved his life more than once in anime. And thus allowing hope to have a chance to win.

But if she is not perpetrator than who is? Giving last two plot-twists I will not be surprised if it's our prototype artifical school hope person.... somehow....

Its really just about her role in here.

'I'm going to be a neet in space' was really the only not 3rd rate action of her I saw - other than that pretty standard villian character - also including her means of escape

The more interesting part of the episode was when she said that someone is going to die and then they did showed Kyouko. - Thats probably a huge red hering though and its either Togami or Asahina - or both.

OR someone who survived previously and was believed to be dead. 'One of those who survived Junko's game' is just too vague as that it HAS to refer to someone already seen.
Moreover if you listen to what Monaca says closely it doesn't even have to refer to Naegi's killing game. - It could as well refer to the Killing game in DR2.

That she was talking about Naegi's killing game, while likely, is actually just Komaru's and Tokawa's conclusion.

I can't wait for the dubbed episode to come out soon. Hinata will show up during end part of the season. Really want to see him and Juzo duke it out for real. I still think Juzo is the traitor to FF, but not to Kyosuke.

Nagito's luck is go great that he accidentally destroyed Junko 2.0 when he tried to make one. Good job. And too bad, he doesn't get to witness the end of "Junko" again. I guess he has to find someone else to be Junko 3.0 lol

Monaca is probably the first person in the series who realized how pointless is "hope vs despair" thing.

Now, I will wait for Monaca to return as a decent good girl. I wish she will turn all Monokuma into domestic helper robot (like she lied to her family when she was building them) and help future foundation rebuild the world. .......wait where are Makoto and Komaru's parent? please come back to tell them too, Monaca-chan.

I hope Komaru will support Makoto with Gekkohara robot from now on.

I don't think so. If she was able to control that robot she would be able to move around during the sleep phase. That would totally upset the game's balance.

There is nothing prevent her from doing that. Monaca has been doing it anyway and "mastermind" doesn't care.
