Darn, I don't want to go on the thread yet until I see the new episode, but I have heard from Mahou and ANN that there will be 13th episode?!

Can anyone tell me if they know if that's true or not? Because that would be just plain awesome!

Hmm, maybe the other sites got that confused or something. Mahou usually takes the show out of the schedule the moment it ends, however Valvrave is still there and on a countdown for 7 days from now with episode 13.

You know what my biggest concern is?

that all the 200 years material is just used for the epilogue to wrap up things

that would be a shame

My guess is that that is most likely to be the case, but if sales are high enough, I can see Sunrise making another season based on that time period. Kinda like Gundam Seed and Gundam Seed Destiny but with a bigger time gap.

Season 1 - Introduction
Season 2 - Dorssia
Season 3 - Arus
Season 4 - Climax
Season 5 - 200 years finale.

On-topic: I think second season will have the pilots as refugees and Module 77 is taken under the control of Drossia unless they happen to destroy it which I highly doubt.

I don't think Valvrave is doing so well that they can afford to make more than two seasons, but I haven't checked the pre-orders lately. Was there a spike? The series did get better so it wouldn't surprise. The rape seems to have attracted a lot of attention too.

It seems to be pretty popular to me. Maybe not "Shingeki" popular but it's up there. It's already garnered two side-story manga as well as well as a manga adaptation (not 100% sure on that), and Sunrise is milking the merchandise.

I would actually like the show to be around "Gundam" or "Geass" length, i.e. two 25 episode seasons, or one 50 episode show.

They've already garnered enough material that there is more than enough to cover and flesh out in that amount of time.

L-Elf was already a Chirico clone and this series has Kunio Okawara on staff. Based on what was said at the beginning of the last episode it looks like the VOTOMS references will continue with settings on other planets.

It certainly looked like a rape to me. A marriage proposal does not exactly change matters. Even if for some reason you don't believe that Saki was raped, Haruto sure as hell was.

I don't know, Chirico did unintentionally made a few friends and eventually fell in love, L-Elf can't claim either of that.
