After I've read the plot summary on the wikipage (as I never heard of the first season, or the light novels before), my reaction was the same as serenade beta's.

I guess I'll be the first one here to say I'm happy Kanokon will be getting another anime adaptation. I actually enjoyed the first season (very much so really), and I'm assuming this will continue where the first season left off. So excited. I know no one will confuse Kanokon as one of the greatest anime ever, but I just enjoyed it for what it was. So yeah, time for more ecchi.

If I'm not mistaken, didnt the original light novels win some sort of award.. I havnt looked at the summaries for the novels, but if I'm not mistaken ( my memory is fuzzy on the matter, so correct me if im OMGWTFSTFU all wrong on this ) the stories were quite different, for example

Its still unknown what its going to be... it only says Kanokon new project.

Some are guessing its going to be an OVA, but I'm hoping for a second TV anime season >_<

So the show that got my "I wish I could give you a good reason I finished this, but I can't" award for 2008 and made me question my policy of watching shows with a strong focus on girls with animal ears just because they have a strong focus on girls with animal ears is getting another season?

Frack. I'm really hoping that I have the willpower to stay away this time - unless it's a new adaptation, in which case I'll probably be more willing to give it a chance.

Okay, I can accept that they might want to do this to make it more true to the story and novel adaptation. But fuck, you are gonna have to try really hard to make anyone like Chizuru or Kouta at all.
