plus the spell crests even made kanzaki strong himekawa naturally would get a lot stronger without them. Plus of all the characters he's the one i'd expect to betray since he's got the whole deal where he seems to be all into money and doesn't care about the fighting part as much

This example might explain how Himekawa won.For the sake of explanation converting their physical power of the Tohoshinki members including Oga into stats:

Base=normal power

Oga base:20k
Toujou base :19k
Aoi base:16k
Himekawa:10k
Kanzaki:9k

If we assume the crest increases physical power by factor 2.Lets do some math. Himekawa + crest = 10k x 2 = 20k .His total power just barely exceeds Toujou's normal power and that might explain how he barely won.

^I think Oga's base is closer to around 22-23k no going by your system. He tanked the hell out of Toujou's hits during the Christmas GrandPrix battles and because his body is constantly bathe in demon energy, he's natural power is also increasing because of it.

So the crest numbers can change change depending on the level of performance or trust? Looks like Kanzaki won't be number 1 for long, for some reason I expect Furuichi to become number 1 later, since he's the 'general' who has been by Oga's side the longest.

He has GOT to be making fun of Bleach and One Piece here...those characters are such rip-offs but it's funny. But I never thought that Emo-spada would lead them...that was just too funny.

I wonder how long it will be until someone makes a comparison chart.

Why do I got an image of Furuichi having a King's crest? Unlike the other character other than Oga, Furuichi is the only one to have acknowledgement for being a contractor. I smell another moment for Furuichi.

It's looking more and more like Himekawa really did betray Oga, but I still don't buy it. The lie he used to trick Oga was probably the truth.

Interesting that the numbers on the tattoo can change depending on trust. So that means Oga trusts Kanzaki more than Aoi? Oi...
