Pretty much agree here. The series would most likely have worked better if the show stuck with going an original route (a la the first episode) rather than trying to insert plot points from the second and third games in the show's later episodes. Just because the the Neptunia franchise has three games doesn't mean you need to reference all of them in this series (especially when you only have 12 episodes to work with).

If the anime did not refence the games constantly then it wouldn't be Neptuia. The games are constently makeing digs at themselves or refenceing something then completely turning it on it's ear. This is not the same world as in the games but one of the many alternate worlds (although l feel there may be a few characters that are the same ones from V in the series)

I don't see what's wrong with referencing anything. Like you said, they have only 12 episodes, so not being bound to the plot of the game is a good thing. It stands on its own. I haven't played the games but I don't feel the slightest bit confused.

Episode felt a bit lackluster to me, though the ending was somewhat touching.
Then again, I've never been a fan of brainwashing plots. The real tragedy here is that Plutia is gone.

Meh, I'm a big fan of brainwashing plots, but only if they're done well. This one was not.

Neptune doesn't want to have anything to do with it since there's Pish involved, so Gear tries to hold, unsuccessfully, Yellow Heart. Meanwhile, Noire tries to go to R18 island again, suspicious of Yellow Heart's power. Pururut convinces Neptune that she can do something for Pish, so she tries to make her remember - without using her goddess form and getting quite a beating. Pururut joins forces with Noire at R18 island, managing to capture Rei and Anonedeath and disabling Yellow Heart's power. At the same time, Yellow Heart starts to remember something, enough for Neptune to calm her down. In the end though, she never recovers her memories. After a short time, Pururut and Pish get back to their own dimension, with Neptune leaving her pudding to P-ko, who, at the last moment before warping back, seems to remember her... Animation was a bit inconsistent, the story was nice overall. New OP with 5pb. in... right now I'm not sure if david is trolling or not.
