Hopefully this leads to a second season. W is already my #2 Rider series, let's see if a movie and (hopefully) another season or more can have it dethrone Gaim for #1.

Yes! I never watched any of the liveaction movies so I'm quite curious with how the studio adapts it. The preview seems to mention Tokime's actress so I guess it will just like how the tv series ended with Shotaro telling Tokime properly how everything started.

I unintentionally skipped the Skull movie during my rewatch of W before the anime started, so I'm fine with this. I'm assuming they're to flesh out Skull a lot more. Hopefully it does really well and we get a second season of Fuuto Tantei.

The Live Action episode 1 makes more sense after watching the prequel of the live action TV.

Shotaro's childhood friend shows up briefly in the prequel, and she is still a bystander client in the live action TV.

The prequel explains that Phillip's name was given by Skull(Phillip Marlowe). Apparently, Sokichi is the fans of film noir. His hat and style is the reference to the detectives from hardboiled fiction. After Phillip's research, he concludes that Shotaro is anything but hardboiled.

Even Shotaro failed to show his hardboiled side, Tokime appreciate him from his vulnerable side.

The Taboo(the older sister of MUSEUM) looks hotter in anime. She is able to break Sokichi's skull ability.

Apparently, all villains of MUSEUM appear to be more powerful than MACHI villains. MACHI'S boss thinks the failure of MUSEUM is due to the ignorance of JOKER's dopant ability. So, he prepares his own trump card for fighting JOKER.

Well, Shotaro has often shown his sensitive side in Kamen Rider W. Not only he sings alongside the radio, but he also goes to karaokes to have fun. In the last episodes he even cries when he fears the worst. Guess Shotaro's mentor used to be the hardboiled figure he wants to be.
