Isn't everything a matter of opinion, here?

I'm still reserving final judgment until the subs come out (and then, probably until the movie), but the comments here just reaffirm my earliest disappointment.

I am watching the raw right now. it was actually better than everyone made it sound. it really did seem like a 3some ending. They both love Sheryl

LOL. I'm laughing so hard....harem ending! Everyone was so sure there would be a definite end to the LT and instead we get no resolution. God this means the shipping wars are never going to end unless they give us an OAV resolving it. Which I have a feeling they won't (not that they won't have an OAV but that they won't resolve it even if they do have one).

I had to give the ep 9/10 because I thought it was kind of rushed and choppy at times. I think they really could have used another episode or so instead of cramming it all into one episode.

Plus side, Ranka does seem mature in this episode and gets out of zombie mode. Sheryl is cured (though in a rather deus ex machina way), but hey at least she is alive. They sang the dokun song, but it was only for a short while at least and contrary to everything Ranka fans were saying it wasn't the big AltoxRanka song to end the LT. If anything it was more of a Ranka and Brera moment.

Man, I do hope they give us an OAV and another OST because I want that Maaya version of Aimo, it's too gorgeous.

I actually liked the last episode somewhat : )

I definitely want a sig of when Ranka and Sheryl hugged. That was sooo cute!

Was a pretty damn good episode aside from the obvious thing but if that gets resolved in the movie than I'm fine with it.

Leon didn't die. He was arrested though. They didn't show what happened to him after that....like I said, everything was very rushed.

It's only after listening to Sheryl's song and comparing it with Ranka's song did they realize that humans "differ" from one and and another

Furthermore the Vajra keep their "feelings" within their abdomen and not their head. This is why Ranka's and later Shery's abdomen glow

this guy speaks the truth, i was shouting epic epic EPICCCCC during my mecha pronz moment....until several moment in the end make me go "eh? WHATTTT, THATS IT? WAIT NO DONT DO CREDIT ROLL ON ME WITHOUT THE LT WINNER NOO"

i watch macross for dogfight, daedalus punch, transforming titan mecha and LOVE TRIANGLE, and sadly in the end all of my desire was complete expect the LT... so its like uh.. anti climax? i don't know.. first half of the episode was pure win and make me thing "this is epic macross!" but meh.. but still this episode deserve 10/10 from me.. despite lack of conclusion in LT.. which i *finger crossed* think may be resolved in the movie or whatsoever ova that is.

TTGL last episode in other hand was full of manly tears and epic win

While I definitely think it was a cop out and things were resolved too quickly I can't really complain because in the end we got

Ranka/Brera
Ranka/Sheryl (the most important one of all)
Ranka/Alto
Sheryl/Alto
Brera/Alto

In the end it turned out to be the ultimate OT4.

I guess the movie will cause the ship wars to continue though

edit: Although I won't mind if there is a ship resolution in the movie as long as both Sheryl and Ranka are happy and friends in the end.

ok after watching the raw, I'm not that disappointed anymore. I really like how they merge every song during the battle sequence (and I think this track will be on the OST II). Like everyone said, the ending was just epic although I really want the LT to be resolve. Hopefully the movie will resolve the LT. Looking forward to the movie. I hope Kawamori doesn't disappoint us again.

Yey! Sheryl lived! That's probably the 2nd important matter to me. The 1st being an Alto x Sheryl ending.

I would also like to know. I don't think Sheryl told her that. I just like to comment how Sheryl's illness got cured. It was way to cheap! It's like Ranka told the virus, "Ok guys, let's move you all to Sheryl's stomach". CHEAP!
