i think Toby's secret was cute and that Blacksnake had some real spirit to shake hands with his opponent but he so cruel,
Elfman totally awesome, the lizardman was too cool, finally he got Fairy Tail some big points.And the Captain guard seems to be doing something fishy with the eclipse plan or something,and need a celestial spirit wizard for that
the next episode is going to be super sexy,

Elfman leads the comeback! I do like seeing more variety in magic and takeovers, so this was good, if a bit unconventional. I like how they built up Bacchus, making you think Elfman had no chance, making you wonder how he'd even have a chance.

And next episode... Mirajane vs. Jenny in a battle of the sexy!

It wasn't a bad strategy. If you can't win head on....don't lose. Luckily Bacchus was dumb enough to take on this fighting against an opponent covered in spikes. Hey, it worked so good on Elfman. Wish he could have beaten him with fists, but this worked. What a piece of work though, making that kind of bet...Almost wish Erza did get this fight so she could have cut him into ribbons.

At least Fairy Tail is getting some points here. Though things aren't looking good behind the scenes. Why does everyone keep trying to kidnap Lucy?

Oh well, next up....fanservice battle!

I like the current one okay, but the music isn't one of my favorites.

Raven Tail is speeding towards victory.
I still don't get why they want Wendy and Charla so bad.
What's so special about them?
Looks like they were after Lucy. Damn that Raven Tail.
Elfman vs Bacchus!
That was kinda pathetic at first.
The lizardman form was pretty cool.
Seems like Fairy Tail is the weakest of them all.
At this rate they don't stand a chance..

Sure, the certain epic aura was missing in the air but all in all, it was still good.

Loved the added Evergreen lines that they put into the ep. Her little 'Otoko!' that she gave as was watching Elfman was great. Spinzaku Bacchus was a lil ...

but this was just to show that Elfman isn't just a load character.

As for next week... why, WHY is Erza so freakin hawt...??? The ep isn't even about her, and yet...

I liked this fight because of the strategy. It was not a sudden power up but actual brain work what is good.

Evergreen sure was rooting hard for Elfman, poor Freed.

If anyone deserved it a bit, Freed did. Even though Mira beat him within an inch of his life for almost killing Elfman, he did get off pretty easy if that's all he got. Ever adding on to it is just the topping. :3

It was a good fight for Elfman. It was a brainy move for him but also a ballsy one as well. Opting to let it end like that. He couldn't have done that tactic on someone else other than Bacchus, who had to touch him in some way to injure him. And also because Bacchus would never back down from a challenge like that. So, against anyone one else, that lil gambit wouldn't have worked well.

The cheaper animation style ruined most episodes (especially the first 2 episodes of the season) :|
Jellal vs. Jura and Chariot was good though and I enjoyed them a lot. As for Lucy vs. Flare...

I wonder what's the reason behind the budget cut?
