A man's worth can be seen by how he spends his money, eh? Hmmmm. I wonder how Hachiken will spend that money.

...maybe he'll buy Pork Bowl?

Man, gotta love Aki's BSOD upon hearing Yugo×Mayumi. I knew Arakawa gave her a proper introduction for something...

Spoiler for Misinterpreted quotes :):

And Hachiken has finally decided how he will spend his hard-earned money. Will it go well?

I surprisingly found myself preferring Hachiken with Yoshino all of a sudden. For someone who likes being teasingly mean so much (see vs. Buddha for his cheese) she seems like a good match with the stuck-up Yugo.

I've never liked Aki the way she's drawn. Something in her face, her eyes, and her hair are uncharacteristically out of proportion for Arakawa's anatomy (actually, she draws Winry like that sometimes too, so maybe she's just weird with female leads). I keep wondering why Hachiken finds her attractive.

Damn, that was a funny chapter...how fast rumours spread So, Hachiken's gonna use his money at last, but he can't possibly keep a pet pig, and he can't run away from the inevitable delicious pork chops, so what's he gonna use it for?

Eh as someone who has kept a lot of pets in my lifetime I can understand why he won't let Pork Bowl go. I wouldn't let any of my dogs go even if you had a gun in my face. They're practically family to me.

Fact is, he's in an environment where this kind of thing is natural, the others don't even stop to think about it - seeing him fuss over it so much is bound to rock a few discussions in his school.

That's probably precisely why it took him that long to decide what to do. For someone who has claimed to be aimless and dreamless, he now has another thing he can focus and aim for.

I actually thought he would honestly try to raise the pig and it'd be a part of the series and his personality until at some point much later it dies anyway.
