Not so sure Nero is as guilty as he seems. They wouldn't have made such a show of his hesitation at pulling the trigger on the fleeing Angelo if there wasn't something to it. Did he even shoot anyone at the house? His (intentionally?) missed shot at Angelo is the only one we actually see.

And even if he didn't directly shoot anyone, Nero is still as guilty as anyone else there as an accessory. He hesitated in shooting Angelo, probably because he was a kid, but he did eventually pull the trigger. I doubt that Angelo would ever forgive him, even if he didn't do the killing blow. Him standing around doing nothing while his family was slaughtered is probably even worse in his eyes.

Anyone who didn't like the first episode should give this a chance. The second episode, I feel things really took off with the character development. And you get to listen to TK at the start of every episode which is always a plus.

On the other hand it doesnt' really matter, he was there and they killed a kid there, Luce (that's a female name by the way). About Fango, he is definitely too out of the box for being killed if not very late in the story. I'm even expecting they will join forces at a certain point. In retrospect Angelo may have missed to kill Fango on purpose. Fango on the other hand is smart and skilled enough to have got it and now he may be testing him to see how smartass he is. That said without taking into account taht Angelo is supposed to have zero experience, point that makes it odd they assigned such a target to him, but given how he was at ease in the role of a killer I cant take it at face value at all. Still it remains a difficult task to accomplish and Vanno didn't know it or suspect it.

Man, that Serpente could be such trouble even in death. But looks like a war between the Vanettis and Orcos are now unavoidable, isn't it? Seems redhair brat send his own people after Nero and Angelo to clean up that mess, present the dead son and the war ends before it even began. What a selfish guy...
It was sad watching Nero mourning for his dead friend, I think Angelo must have had a pleasant smile on his face that moment. Kinda like when he knew that he and Nero would be alone on a trip, another chance to kill another one of the three murderers of his family. I doubt Nero's gonna die so early though, those two probably rather have to fight the Galassis men and kind of bond over that experience with Angelo letting Nero live to get a chance to off the father first, then Nero.

Episode 3 is great and develops into something I did not expect the the end now that explains why Angelo will grow more hesitated to kill Nero
The show has been pretty great so far in "show dont tell" aspect. All those focus on Nero's face and Angelo's face, also Corteo has more than a simple role of being used is good. I love how Nero notices the empty eyes of Angelo. This can develop into some good dialogue later. Nero, despite knowing Angelo has this empty look, still agrees to let Angelo company him. Is he having any plan at all or? It is pretty sad that Angelo doubted his friend.... Now I know why they took Vanno out of the picture first and so early, since it would be easier to develop relationship and conflict between Nero and Angelo this way. Cheap, but successful Angelo probably thought that too Last edited by glaceon_cute; 2016-07-22 at 16:25. |

A war between the the Vanettis and Orco is pretty much inevitable.
Angelo will now be pretty close to Nero, which should give him plenty of chances to take out murderer #2. Their time together though, could result in Angelo becoming more hesitant to kill him though. Nero also notices the smile that Angelo puts on his face whenever he gets closer to revenge, so he is probably suspicious of him now.

Revenge must have quite a sweet taste in this show...
Fango is a clever man as well. I think he may also be somewhat unstable as well. Didn't expect Nero to be in such a deep trouble with his own family either. This has been quite a dark horse of the season so far, been enjoying the show every week now.

So it will be a four-way fight between the Vanettis, Orco, Nero and Angelo.
I'm impressed so far with Angelo, he got his revenge on one and now has managed to wedge himself to position where he can take out Nero. Course' his instantly suspicious of Nero bites it. I just hope he doesn't forget to take care of Corteo, poor guy is getting dragged along Angelo's scheme, But he's getting money from his moonshine so...

Personally I felt that episode 3 was a step back. I like Fango, but his character has become distracting so hope he gets killed off soon. In all I didn't care for the drama in this 3rd episode, it seemed like the tension from the previous episodes wasn't all there this time around. Last scene was promising though.
Still a good series, but I liked the previous episodes quite a lot more.

Episode 3
So Nero wants to see ded Serpente for himself in order to believe Angelo's story because Serpente's dead body wasn't at the crime scene. Angelo had Corteo get Cerotto to tell what happened to Serpente's body by saying that everyone is suspecting him because he was there when everything with dango took place. And Cerotto had the body sold to Scusa who's a government dude who plans on selling the body to the Vanettis because an Orco guy was killed by a Vanetti guy and it would be really troublesome if word gets out. And Nero and Angelo reach the body but Fango gets there too. But Fango doesn't know about Serpente's death so Angelo becomes a fake Serpente to try and get the hostage Fango had. And with Nero there, it became as if he was involved in Serpente's killing and the attempt on Fango. So his own family would be after him for messing with the Orcos and the Orcos themselves would be out for his head. So he goes into hiding. Angelo joins him because Fango might come to blow his head off since he tried to kill him twice. And with the body being in Scusa's custody, a new party has been involved now. So the mafia wars continue and the Orcos and Vanettis are almost going to try and kill each other now thanks to Angelo's revenge. Way to go, Angelo. You're starting a war now. |

Angelo is now in the perfect position to kill Nero. Unfortunately, Orco's meddling is going to screw with his plan for revenge. I wouldn't be too surprised if he eventually ended up becoming friends with Nero, since Nero didn't kill any member of his family back then (but Angelo doesn't know that yet). Would Nero forgive Angelo for killing Vanno though? I doubt it, as he seemed to like him a lot.
