This episode was pretty interesting. Izaya's still intimidating as ever and I feel like Anri was falling for his mind traps for a moment until Erika came to her help.

Niekawa is still strange as I remember even in this third part.
Rokujo still a player like usual.

The conversation about humans was also fairly interesting this episode. Nice buildup overall. I'm really interested to see how each of these characters' roles will intersect in this arc.

Izaya up to no good again.
Always trying to fulfill his agenda.
Poor Anri..
Kasane was enjoying her freedom.
Mikado obviously went off the rails.
Who know how it'll end for him..
Poor Cetly got overwhelmed.

Poor Celty can't catch a break, things are really getting interesting now.

The episode felt well animated unlike some of those from past seasons. Also, is Izaya's objective only to watch the kids' groups fighting?

Remember the whole part he thinks Dullahans are Valkyries taking heroes souls to Valhalla? He is playing the part of Loki causing Ragnarok.

So Kasane is Ruri's Aunt? The reason why she messed that girl's life is because she was jealous she is living the free life of a human. Irony is Ruri doesn't think herself deserving to be human until she met Celty showing that Monsters can be human.

With Yodigiri Jinnai gone thanks to Izaya Kasane feels she is free. Free to do stuff like wearing cat ears and reading magazines about cosplay cafes under a tree.

To Haruna freedom means finding her old teacher lover and perhaps of Anri.

Anri since her family's death has been having a problem relating to herself thus protecting her psyche from Saika. Izaya views her and Saika as competition to the point calling them monsters. When Izaya is a bigger monster himself.

Glasses girl pulled a prank throwing Celty's head in public. This made Celty faint seeing it.

Roukujou visiting Kadota is about to get involved just in time for the chaos of the Blue Squares and Yellow Scarves is about to begin.

Erika is a good friend. She is willing to accept and stand by Anri no matter what. I would even go as far to say Erika is like a sister to Anri.

Freedom is nice to have, though I would probably do more with it than wear cat ears.

Kasane is starting with her antiques too, and funnier than I expected.

So it seems that the relative freedom of Izaya's "faction" was intentional in a sense. Now, they're everywhere, ruining everyone's day. However, Kine and Sharaku seems to be wildcards. They know more than just playing along with Izaya's plans. There's also that past victim of Izaya who's shaking things up.

That girl surely didn't know what she's just done.
