Well in Transformers the humans were pretty much the protagonists.

Though in that case I would chalk that up to the budget since animating the robots would be expensive.

No just, just no. This is ridiculous and sad because the dude is missing the point about the TMNT, I truly hope this fails or gets canceled because for one, I'm still a Ninja Turtles fan, and with crappy ideas like that, it just kills me inside.

Well as the article mentions, the script that was leaked was the script was the script that delayed the production to 2014 because the script was terrible. The real question however is how much of those terrible ideas will remain in the final script... we now have some idea of how terrible it could get, now we gonna see how close/far they fall from that line.

Frankly, i wish Bay would just forget about making a ninja turtle movie and instead just change all the names of the characters in that script and just call it "Alien ninjas" or something like that... That way he gets the crappy movie he wants, while the rest us don't have to see our childhoods die a little more. Save the ninja turtles for a director that actually understands why they were so loved in the first place.

I didn't like the last movie few years ago but at least it's at an acceptable level. Now we're going to see turtles with explosions everywhere! Yeah, I'm sure this is going to be a hit with our young teenagers.

What an awful career choice for Fox. She was finally starting to break free from her box office whoredom and try and become something of a real actor (not saying she is succeeding, and she is still cast as the "hot girlfriend" rather than for any real talent, but it is still a commendable goal she is trying to accomplish). Plus, isn't she too old (she's 35, right?...Well she looks 35 at least, so maybe she is older)? Whatever the case, it was a very shortsighted career decision in my opinion.

(Here is hoping that Bay doesn't make her dye her hair. Seeing Fox in the role is already going to be silly enough, but seeing her with blond or red hair would be even worse.)
