Wow, how long since I actually found a Bleach chapter actually decent? It must've been years now ...

The chapter was nice, and made me remember what I liked about Bleach in the beginning. Interesting to see Ichigo still has his Shingami strength, which would mean he's on a super-human level now (inb4 Ichigo as Karakura Red pops up)

That being said, the translation on this chapter was really weird. Ichigo told his friends about his condition while he was asleep? Above the middle? (I'd use something like above average)

We'll, Ichigo does acknowledge that they might give him a hard time about it, but he is just one Quincy, so I doubt they'd really care how many Hollows he destroys.

That was the second thing I loved about this chapter. The attention to details was higher than usual here (as opposed to no attention, like what we usually get)

Mmm this chapter... is different. In a good way. Feels better to me than any of the chapters I've read in this past few years.... hopefully this new arc won't turn out like the Aizen one and Bleach will turn out to be good again..

Well for me just going by this chapter alone, it's gotten back the feel I had for the series at the start. So I'd say it's already back on track with maybe the exception of the last bit.
I don't really feel much for "mysterious guy showing up and who knows what he is or what he's up to" scenario but it's early days for new arc.

Plus I can't deny that the change in character appearances is great, so (^_^)b(not a 2 thumbs up yet, not till I see what SS gang are like, hopefully some changes there too)

I am actually curiouse to see SS now, they must have gone through some changes over the years too. Like have found new replacements for 3 lost captains. Some of the characters also must have improved their skills and maybe changed style a bit.

I wonder if Renji is still the same failure.

But yeh, right now they are not needed. It would be better to bring them in somewhere around the same time as at the start of the series. Maybe a bit earlier.

Rukia as a lieutenant would be awesome

The chapter made me a little sad it was a good chapter similar to the last chapter we just had and the Gin vs Aizen chapter, but this is the last arc that means Tite is going to explains everything here and I expect a very long arc. Even if Tite doesn't get to everything make this to be a recreation of Dragon ball Z and Bleach

The beginning of Tite's arc were always so great, but I think I almost cried when I remembered how this was the last arc. I wish it would continue on

come to think of it, are ANY of the arcs in any manga ever named liked this? I mean sure people say the "soul soceity arc" or the "Hunco mundo arc", but i kinda thought those were more like fan given names that just caught on or coincidently matched what offical sources came to call it later on...
