As well loved as this anime franchise is, it seems one of the harder ones to get character stats on. Age, height or what ever. This stats are usally easy to find on characters of different animes... not this one. Strange. Does anyone have a height chart or other type of image?

I wouldn't mind also know what each character's blood pressure and cholesterol level is, and whether they had their wisdom teeth pulled out yet.

If there isn't a height chart of Onegai Teacher, then the closest you'd be able to get is in the OVA episode where they're all together at the end. lol

Since I forgot names, bear with me.

Those two are happily married and from what we saw, he gets some every night.

The girl who was in love with the above mentioned boy is with that one airplane teacher, happily together.

Red head and hyper blonde both went to Tokyo University and are together.

And the best character of all is still weird and meddlesome.

Though I 'd like to see more cute Maho. Maho is my type of woman (when she's an adult of course!) because she seems to have a bit of Irish in her. I like my women feisty and opinionated

IMO, the only way to continue the series without making it crappy would be to expand upon the scifi aspect of the show that was only mildly dealt with in the original series. Have Mizuho and Company get swept up in some grand plot with the Galaxy Federation or whatever it was that she actually works for.

Well, the thing with the Onegai series, it always seems to be about taboo relationships at first glance. OTe is about a teacher/student relationship, whereas OTw has an underlying incestual, brother/sister complex going for it. Aliens just happens to be part of the story, but as OTw has shown, it's not that significant overall. If there'll ever be a new Onegai series, I'm guessing it'll revolve around another taboo theme of sorts.

On another note, Onegai Friends is actually a side story about two of Karen's classmates which was released as a drama CD. I don't know the specifics, but I heard that it involves two girls who fall in love with the same guy. Just a love triangle—no yuri whatsoever. While I think that going the yuri route would be oh-so predictable in this scenario, the fact that it's just a love triangle doesn't make it any better. Personally, it sounds kind of dull.

Im sure they could still make a taboo relationship theme a main part of the plot and still go with expanding into the the sci-fi angle of the series. Im all for a yuri themed sci-fi epic

IMO. the only reason they havent made the sci-fi angle of the series significant is because they likely dont have the vision for it. With Scifi you can do so much and since they havent hardly touched on it, its a great angle to play into if they have the vision for it.

Well yuri isn't so taboo in anime when you think about it, compared to a teacher/student relationship, which takes the shock factor out of the story. (Then again, so is the brother/sister complex theme of OTw.) But I mean, seriously? With a number of yuri-themed shows that are already available, it just won't stand out that way.

On another note, I think a sci-fi scenario will just end up downplaying the taboo-ish aspect of any non-traditional relationship—precisely because it's sci-fi. Not only is it a piece of fiction, but it's also sci-fi. In other words, it would be blatantly screaming fantasy and it would possibly make no qualms about it whatsoever. At least in OTe and OTw, things are more or less grounded in ordinary present day terms: A school in Nagano prefecture, a bunch of young students, and their hot (alien) teacher. It was very important to keep the setting "down to earth" for both series so to speak.

I see no reason why they can not add on the series, it was and still is very popular. They could do so much more with this wonderful Anime!

It amazes me that they havent done anything more with it yet.

It saddens extreamly.. ='(

I am actually suprised too. It is still insanely popular. The animators could make more money off of the Onegai series.

I remember that after Onegai Twins had ended there was a rumor, and some excitement about third "onegai" series called Onegai Friends (again with new main characters, two girls

I'd rather have them leave it as it is. Even if they could put a Sci-Fi spin on a new season, I still wouldn't approve because that's not the point of the Onegai series.
