Upon rewatch, I noticed something. The 3 adventurer elves were at Rimuru's evolution into a demon lord. It also looked like they were knocked out and received the "gift" as well. However, I never thought that they were his subordinates. So why did they also receive gifts?

If all it takes is someone with a positive relationship with Rimuru, then shouldn't Milim and the 5 students also receive gifts? Milim for being close friends and the students for being his students? Well, I guess we'll have to wait and see.

When did that happen? I didn't noticed it.

They shouldn't be included in it.

The gift that happen during harvest festival should only occur to those directly connected through soul corridor or the ones that rimuru had given names with.

It wasn't directly mentioned in the anime, but anyone who wasn't a monster or majin had to leave the area to outside the barrier at some point because the magicule density grew too strong within which would be toxic to anyone whose body had no affinity with or resistance to magicules, so Youm and the adventurer trio had to leave to outside the barrier. Also within the trio only Eren is an elf, the other two are humans.

As for thinking they were on the ground, you might have mixed them up with some of Souei's ninja subordinates.

Also, Falmuth's King and the Western Holy Church guy was taken there as well. True that they weren't shown in the scenes afterwards, but they were shown at the start of the festival with not much time in between shown until the end. Oh, and I guess they had the dwarfs leave as well off-screen.

What better way for Rimuru to awaken and realize Shion is alive again then to get a face-full of her boobs when he wakes up? Some things never get old .

Rimuru did it! He revived everyone! And now he's basically a god to everyone in Tempest .

Man, Benimaru really set Rimuru up with that password. Luckily Raphael gave Rimuru the perfect line to turn things around and get Shion to drop all respect for Benimaru and set him up as the victim of her culinary skills. I kind of feel bad for him, but he brought it on himself .

So now that Great Sage is Raphael she can speak much more naturally and, on paper, is much more proficient and knowledgeable. She won't ever admit she used to be stilted as Great Sage though .

Milim has declared all out war among the Demon Lords and started with Carrion. Is Clayman controlling her? What's going on here? Maybe this is related to her dragon friend who she couldn't properly revive ?

I can't say I know Carrion well other than he seems honorable, ready for a fight, and had the decent sense to get his people out of there before they all got vaporized during his fight with Milim. He also seemed to hold his own well enough for both Demon Lords to take on their true forms, even if things started going downhill for him there .

So that pink-haired adult woman from the Opening was Milim's true form. It was kind of surreal seeing her looking older and for Rina Hidaka to finally drop her iconic loli voice, but it definitely left an impact on both the viewers and on Carrion's entire city .

You thought it was just Milim, but here comes Sayaka Ohara...I mean, Demon Lord Frey! So it's not just Clayman and Milim, but possibly an alliance of three Demon Lords together? I guess Rimuru's just joined a club that is going to end up pitting him against his fellow Demon Lords .

Poor Diablo...he's become the biggest Rimuru fanboy but Rimuru completely forgot about him and just assumed he had left. At least Rimuru was open to welcoming him into the fold, complete with naming him, but I feel like his old Demon clothes looked better than what he's wearing now. He looks like Rimuru's butler .

Well, we've got the kingdom of Falmuth locked up in (what I assume) are the new Tempest dungeons. Can we get Hinata in a cell, too? Although it seems like the plan to deal with Hinata and the Church is to sick Veldora on them, as Rimuru finally frees our favorite tsundere dragon and even gives him a human form .

Wait, is that it for this cour? What about that blonde elf? Or Clayman's clown posse? They never showed up .

Season 2 is a 2-cour. Part 2 will be this coming summer (July)

yeah this chapter didn't feel like an end of season but it was.

I'm happy that veldora is free now, I think he is a fun character and diablo is a rimuru fanboy, the future looks fun.

I know, but it just felt kind of abrupt. And that characters who were in the Opening never even showed up (granted, this series has been guilty of that since the first season).

Rimuru is concerned about fighting 3 Demon Lords, but as usual, oftentimes really underestimating himself and who he has. With Diablo and Veldora at his side, that's quite a trio of power in itself. I wonder if Veldora can take on Milim himself? Rimuru was already suggested that he is stronger than Carrion, so he might be stronger than Clayman and Frey. We don't know the exact extent of Diablo's powers, but being a primordial, I'd expect that he is immensely powerful.


This still does not even include Benimaru, Shion, and the rest, who have all apparently evolved even further.


Now, we still don't even know the reason for Milim's attack, and we don't even know if she will target Rimuru. Will she team up with Rimuru and take out Clayman? Personally, I'd rather she just get upset at the Western Holy Kingdom and wipe out Hinata and the rest of them.

Great Sa- I mean, Raphael is going to get even more fun than she already was. Her skills have definitely improved a lot, since she was already able to undo Veldora's seal. I can't wait to see Rimuru and Veldora interact. Has Veldora been able to watch Rimuru from inside his body? I'd say he's lived up to the name he bestowed upon him. It's certainly reassuring to have him as an ally, what with three Demon Lords possibly teaming up.

Remember Hinata fighting Rimuru in the very first OP of the series? I figured most of the stuff in the OP wouldn't happen this cour, and maybe not even this season

The starting point of Slime Diaries, at least in the manga version, is after the Orc Disaster, but before Milim arrives. So about episode 15/16-ish of season 1.
Over time it progresses through the main story events too, e.g. Milim arriving, etc., but it's difficult to say how much of the spin-off manga the anime will cover.

Haven't read the source material but I'm always getting the idea that Rimuru is like a shiny new toy that Diablo found, and at the same time he's also kind of abnormally strong that Diablo couldn't help but be curious about what he's going to do next, that's why he's kinda desperate to stick around and follow him around.

Kinda like when you're watching somebody play a fun game and you get the urge to play that game too

He did get his wish though, he got named so he's part of the gang from here on out.

As for Veldora turning into a Carrion knockoff.. well I like his tsundere dragon form better

Makes me wonder if Veldora and Rimuru are equals, or has rimuru surpassed him? I've also noticed that monsters with surnames (Veldora Tempest, Rimuru Tempest, Milim Nava) are vastly more powerful than 1 named monsters, even though technically everyone Rimuru named also got the Tempest surname as well.

The first season 1 OP showed some characters that haven't even been introduced in the anime until now. It's been going on for some time. It even showed Hinata fighting Rimuru on the ruins of a city and yet we've only seen Hinata on the last episode of s1 lol, we only got their fight this season and it isn't even in the ruins of a city

I have finally caught up with the show. I loved the laser beam lightshow that was the one sided battle of ep 11. Your death will not be painless, that didn't quite come true. Rimuru just slaughtered an army near instantly. More interesting was the fights of the reincarnated fools. That spikey haired bastard killed his own friend to gain a skill. It serves him right to be killed in turn by that mage. I'm surprised that mage was able to resurrect after being laser shot through the head. I am also surprised the demons were so gentle with him, the scumbag that he is. I agree with Rimuru, betraying your comrades is the worst sin.

Ep12 most certainly felt like a mid-season episode. The long break will SUCK. The whole cooking joke was funny and wisdom skill seems to have some pride to her. I thought she was just like a computer program but its seems she actually has somewhat of a personality. Diablo seems interesting. I am looking forward to seeing how strong he is in a fight.

It seems like Milian was holding back in her fight with Rimuru. She really was just playing around back then. We get to see her full powered form now and damn, shes at another level. I am guessing that all 3 demon lords will now be claymans puppets and Rimuru will have to save them all.
