Seriously RIP, was introduced to DB by my cousin when I was in elementary during its initial years, the very first manga series for which I have the complete set, Taiwanese version though. I even spent my allowance on the trading card packs then.

RIP to a legend. Dragon Ball was a work that made up part of my childhood and this loss hits hard.

RIP, too soon. People were constantly talking about when Goku's VA would switch, but no one expected the author to pass away first.
Maybe he hit his head, considering the cause of death

Very sad news, he was one of the greats of the manga industry, with Dragon Ball becoming a popular series around the world, being a manga & anime gateway for many outside Japan.

Wow...I just...I think I'm in shock.

Dragon Ball, and Dragon Ball Z, were one of my first real experiences with Japanese animation and storytelling growing up and I watched it religiously through the beginning, Z, GT, all the movies, and Super...and loving it, the characters, the whimsical world, battles, and heart all along. And I owe that to Toriyama-sensei.

RIP Akira Toriyama. Thank you for crafting a world where wishes can come true and the universe isn't the limit.
