The current pace of SAO is really not to my liking. How i wished it had the same pace as the first half of the anime.

Kirito logging out of the game.. Somehow i felt slightly disappointed because it's not a 24 hours game anymore.

God that guy is such a crappy walking cliché of a villain it's not even funny...

On the other hand the rest of the episode was decent enough (though nothing amazing). There seems to be more of a flow to this storyline now, with some actual build up to things.

Kirito meets Leafa.
Him learning to fly was LOL. Luckily he's a fast learner.
Seem like different races aren't too friendly with each other.
The world tree is still like a far away dream...
May prove to be very challenging even for Kirito.
That Sugou freak really is a cruel one, keeping Asuna prisoner in his game.

I'm currently thinking of many different painful ways to torture that bastard... Such a jackass for keeping Asuna like that... Some day, I really hope in the future that we have this technology and we can actually play online games like this. It would be great if all of us were like Kirito and Asuna.

But seriously, I hate Suogo.... I hope he burns

Yeah, this is why I can't really bring myself to hate him so much. If Kabaya made NerveGear and SAO just to create the fantasy world in his head, then Sugou is doing basically the same: it's almost like he's just living out his fantasy of being a villain. (The whole Oberon/Titania thing being a prime example of this.) If I didn't know better, with the way he's spilling secrets left, right, and center (and standing to the side to make sure that Asuna could see him entering the "secret code" ), I'd almost say that he wants the hero to come defeat him and rescue the "princess", just so that this little play of his can reach its foreseen end. So I really can't take him seriously; I almost see the whole thing as a parody, whether it really is or it isn't. Meanwhile, everything else that's going on is where the fun is for me.

It's great to be in control of everything and have a magnificently devious plan.
It's even better when you can show off and gloat about it to someone. And preferably that person shouldn't feasibly be able to escape and tell others.

Well, that how I see Sugou.

(Though the credits continued to play their funny game -- this week only Lyfa is credited, but Suguha is not... even though we already know Suguha's voice actor from the previous week. )

Seriously, though, Jerseykid: the girl in the red sweater who wakes up and takes the Amusphere off her head: that's Suguha, Kazuto's sister.

Sugou is such a stereotypical villain. I don't find his being in the story interesting. I'm curious what kirito will do to get to the top. If he needs to get a person of each race, then if anyone he should be able to do it. Without trying he already has a sylph on board. His sister's crush on him is still as creepy as ever.

Lyfa logs out.
Suguha wears and removes something that looks like an improved version of NerveGear.
A giant poster is in her room, where a blond fairy with green wings is flying with birds.
1+1+1 = ???

Why did she say weird guy after she logged out? That fooled me into thinking it must be someone different. Kirito's character looks just like his real life self, except for the ears. It's like she didn't recognize him

Why should she recognize him? Normally the appearence is randomnized and even if you could input your appearence u normally wouldn't choose your real looks, or?
She also doesn't know that Kazuto likes Kirito as nickname and on top of that she would never think that Kazuto will be playing another VRMMO so fast after what happened in SAO...also I don't think you would go to the guy u just met and ask him, if he is your brother xD

The ep itself was nice and I liked it. Well ofc the pace now is completly different: no timeskips, not more than a few hours of time in one ep; you can like or dislike it. I for myself like it as it is the base for a good character build-up and makes the characters and their actions a bit more believeable.

I really enjoyed the first 14 episodes. But, with incest-love-triangle looking to be alive and well, this series is invoking memories of Usagi Drop for all the wrong reasons.

Oh well.

Well he was gone for a long time, he wouldn't know if she bought the hardware. And judging by her crazy reactions, she would never him into her room.

She didn't recognize him. Anime art style in general does a poor job of depicting it, but Kirito's ALO avatar is not identical to his real world face.
