It's the other way, she was interested on him but due to the usual incident (ie accidental groping) she thought he is interested on her.
The misunderstanding was cleared anyway and she got interested in him on a personal level.
She seems to be quite strong as how she easily crushed one antagonist that gave MC a lot of troubles without even fully manifesting her hundred.

I don't know why they fight in that image linked, must be post vol.7.

Btw her name is Selvia Notredame Paulo III.
