To be perfectly fair (state-controlled) media has been feeding the masses with that view for generations, and even now. In Japan's specific's case there's the WW2 baggage and Japan's political attitude on it has been pretty tepid which hasn't helped.

The racism/antijapan stuff is very very very common in chinese WNs. Like from what I've seen at least 90% of them dealing with the modern world will have that stuff, often much worse than what we got here. So while it's very disturbing for a foreign reader, in cultural context Mars Gravity isn't especially bad on that front.

When a player login to game, his/her soul transfers there then a temporary avatar created from energy for them to use. So humans with high soul powers can be so broken at there. Also all the NPCs real people at that planet but some of their behavior againts 'Players' edited with that OP item and they have to follow game rules againts players...

He died only one time and he was lvl 60+ iirc. But don't worry he regained(actually exceed) that level in a few chapters. He already collected most of beads at that time and his pets were broken so he killed lots of 60+ Fearie and higher grade boss monsters(most were Heaven Destroyer grade)
-Also one of his broken skills (%99999 atack) has a crazy backlash(9 level downgrade and all stats minus 20(or was it 50? I forgot))

But we know 3 Goddesses are actually level 3 Demigods and his game avatar(and soul) was stronger than them several times at latest game part. So before last powerup only his avatar and soul were Demigods(between level 3 and 4). Between every Demigod level there is a huge gap that hundreds of one level lower Demigods can't beat one level stronger one alone. And his last powerup before last boss

True Gods=Level 10 Demigods are immortals but all of True Gods killed... Also Demigod levels determined by birth(reincarnated soul's strength) and can't be raised by cultivation like Xianxias. It can raise with two methods(spoilers)

This web novel is written when the author was young, I suppose. It's basically the MC continuously destroying every single obstacle he faced until he becomes god. The hardest fight he ever had was the first step, where he faced the giant toad and fought continuously for 9 hours until his brain almost fried itself from exhaustion. After that... after that it's like reading a teenager's fantasy I suppose, albeit a well written one.

I don't really see that much difference between this and ATG though, rather I definitely prefer this to ATG.
