To be fair, Devil Survivor aside (since I didn't watch it) there were times in your examples where the MCs acted courageously even before obtaining/regaining their OPness (especially Eren).

Well.... that's not entirely right, either. To make things a little more clear (again, gonna tag this just in case):

I called it a "bad end" for lack of a better term, but it's really more of a fake bad end (ie, the game doesn't actually end when you see it). You said you plan to check out the game yourself eventually, so I won't get into any further details than that. But just remember that as I said the before, the game is quite linear.

what I mean == from other point pf view = unless MCs are over power = than they are not braves even thought courage person will act with power or without it

yes three anime I say have three courage MC but the three of them have power to back up their word when they need it(bad emotion, giant...etc)

so it was like this
MC here have courage to act but not super natural physical strength to back it up so people start to call him coward

Oh I see. Must have misread things. I don't mind linear stories or premise just as long as there are reasonable branching points that sort of move the story and the "rest moments" forward. I read summaries, seen gameplay, and rewatched the first episode and I don't mind on how linear it is as long as plot, overall premise, and pacing doesn't fail on its execution.

I'm with you on that. I just read a bit of the games prologue and the stuff the first episode covered and I was really amazed. I'm sort of tempted to read the next part, but I hope I can hold out until then.

By the way...are you playing on emulator or did you port the game? Just asking.

Also, this seemingly weak willed MC is voiced by a Megumi Ogata. And an Akira Ishida. That might just be appropriate.

Uh.... Sakura is voiced by Kujira, a lady who happens to be well known for her deep, hoarse voice. While she has done some male roles (most people will know her as the Japanese voice of Naruto's Orochimaru), I can assure you that the character she's voicing in this series is, indeed, a female.
