I find it ironic that Funimation is releasing the Railgun S dub now while they still haven't release the Index II dub.

I think they're working on it. Maybe they're using railgun s as a marketing tactic to increase more hype for it since it's kind of better...

Well they simulcast the Railgun S anime, while the Index II subscription subs only started to appear at the beginning of the year. I assume Railgun S is releasing first since they have had more time to work with the material.

Yep just checked, the dub is already out. >.>
Just finished watching it in subs, now it's already dubbed. Damn.

Misaki's English voice actor, don't know how to react to it.

just watched the Dub, shinobu's voice actor is kinda awkward but i think it works surprisingly well since she's such a creepy girl. as for ITEM; i like everyone in there but i'm kinda on the fence with kinuhata considering i'm hearing a surprisingly mature voice from a supposed 12 year old.

mugino on the other hand sounds way to composed during the final sequence of her fight but is perfect when she isn't supposed to be screaming her head off. although the moments when mugino does shout is golden; platinum, if the writing wasn't as god awful as it is.

I don't usually liked dubs...

But... I'm enjoying the English Dub more than the Japanese Dub. Yeah, I know it's weird, but this is the first time I've seen funimation put such quality into anything. I love all of the voices. It is true that they Englishized it a bit, but I've said before that I only like two types of dubs...

1. All of the voices are amazing like the Japanese version.

2. All of the voices are amazing in their own unique way that grows on me.

The voices are fantastic. I've watched episodes 1/5/6/7/(beginning of 8)/11/(I'm starting 12) and I really love the voices. This has not happened before. I'm really excited to the point where I'm going to be buying the funimation dub.

This is the best quality I've seen Funimation do. I love Mikoto's voice, and the other main voices as much as or more than the Japanese version. I haven't found a single voice I didn't like. The voices were way better than in the English dub of Railgun season 1, and I like these voices way more than the Index english dub. I think Funimation put way more effort into this dub because they realized this work was really high quality. I'm pleased.

Edit:

Also, I wanted to say that the reason I like the dub so much is that they keep the meaning consistent, the words match up with the animation! (YES!), the voicing is phenomenal, but more than that, they are changing the phrasing at times to better convey what the manga/light novel were originally intending to communicate, and in some circumstances I feel like it's more obvious than the Japanese dub about making characters look more humble/deep/well-thought out. This is really why I like it more, because it actually does a high-quality job of painting the characters to make them look better. I'm sure this is partially because they had the chance of seeing how Japanese fans reacted to some of the parts of the Japanese dub and they were able to reword things more clearly. Also,... unfortunately, we have ultra instead of super... but I don't really mind, since the voicing is just fantastic.

From Railgun's editor:
>No plans for a Railgun Season 3. If there will be one, it would be after Index Season 3.

Bad news: No Railgun Season 3.
Good news: There might be a Index III in the works.

Also, the editor posted some big SPOILERS! If you would like to know more, please do PM me (:.

That is pretty much what he says, it seems. He's stating the obvious though.

The order they always follow: Index, Railgun, Index 2, Railgun S ->

Announcement #7 for Kamachi's 10 Year Anniversary has turned out to be a little more interesting than it initially appeared to be:

http://www.animenewsnetwork.com.au/i...-panzer/.77629

Railgun vs GuP.

Who will win?

Watch the game be sabotaged... That would actually honestly be somewhat funny--sad, but also funny.
