Btw, if you didn't know you can choose between a boy or girl this time, although as a girl theres a lot less choices for marriage partners. The boy and girl protagonist are each others possible love interest as well.

I prefer the name "Oceans" to "Tides of Destiny". "Tides of Destiny" is too long and too melodramatic. It's a farming/dating/fighting game, not a world-changing epic.

Nice, another Rune Factory game for consoles. I love Frontier for the Wii.

Another rune factory ? yeahhh.

Now I wonder whether it will be adapted in USA since I highly doubt it will come in Europe.

Hmm I thought we already had a topic we were discussing this in. Anyway I'm quite happy to know that it is going to be coming over to this year. A lot of estimates were placing it sometime next year.

i hope the game improve on the farming stimulation. I spend way too much time during the 1st part of RF2 on water the crop. What kind of Farmer doesn't have a irrigation system?

Farming is actually extremely simplified in this game, it's almost completely automated. Most of the game actually revolves around fighting monsters, dating and progressing the main storyline. The farming took a back seat.

I see. I'm not getting it, then. I know Rune Factory has been completely spun off from the Harvest Moon series, but the farming was still one of the main attractions for me. Fighting was the least and dating was somewhere in the middle.

Hu, The dating has always been my favorite thing huhu. I remember Raven of RF 3... hehe. One more game to import then, thanks to the PS3 that isn't blocked.

Well watch around the end of the gameplay video I posted, you'll get a good idea as to how the farming is like.

Well, anyway, it seems that you're best with sticking with the main Harvest Moon franchise since it's primary focus is farming and it improves upon it with each sequel. While RF series, combat is the focus and it improves upon it with each sequel.

Well haven't played a ton of Rune Factory games, but may still check this out. Looks like it could be pretty interesting and will have to check out some more information on it.

Its okay.. the selling point are the knights... sadly your custom character has 0 lines and is pretty much not even there.

The two isn't as good as I thought personally, at least the online mode gives more durability.
