Thanks; this made me chuckle. I'd be hugely amused if SNK actually programmed the game to replace the usual revelation dialogue with something like this on April 1st.

Will have to take some time to really pore over the full imagery population in the thread, but it all looks interesting. Can't help but wonder if the various special intro animations for particular faceoffs are retained/improved.

I hope so too. SNK might bring back their old IPs like Garou to explain what happened to Rock's mother as well as other franchises like Samurai Showdown, The Last Blade and even Art of Fighting (with older versions of the main trio)

Yep, SNK has a nice large portfolio whose consignment to the dustbin of history would be a shame. Keep in mind, for at least the purposes of just-for-fun stages, that said collection is by no means limited to fighting games.
