From a Japanese-English double view, the title of the series is quite possibly one of the worst puns ever. You could view it as "Bug" Bug You. That's pretty damn bad.

I liked ep 1.

ugh oharu was already claimed. lol.

from the ep2 preview it would seem that we would also have more of those "bombs" and we will get to know more about the only female in the group, which I guess would be the tsundere character..

Also, for those with arachnophobia, please stay away from ep01.

Meh. Only really liked the manga mainly because of the art, which IMO is very distinct. But they JUST had to introduce the rest of the main cast, which kinda irked me because it made the MCs stand against those bugs less heroic. Not to mention part of the reason why he idolized silver hair guy was because he was the ONLY one who saved him in the source material, but in here he was saved by the entire team, so one has to wonder why its only the silver hair guy he idolized.

But yeah, ignore the guy who already has preconceived ideas about the show already.

But there's a special reason why I watched this series. How I got to watch it is a ridiculous reason, but it's an okay series. Of course, Oharu kept me intrigued the rest of the way, but I also like Hibachi (mine!)

I can't help but nickname this series "Mushiboobyo"

Is it really that bad? I thought it was fine, as a non-manga reader, but right at the end of the episode, I had this terrible feeling. It felt like this is going to be a 12-13 episode series, I don't know if that's true, but I felt like they crammed a lot of stuff into the ep, such as Oharu's big ones

, action, the premise of the plot, almost as if they tried to clear up minor details so that the rest of the eps can focus on something else. What ever that be, I'm kinda interested at least, and, well, the animation was nice if anything

If Junpei and Mugai-sama kiss in the air that's going to be a bi-shonen. Lucky that it didn't turn out to be in that way. Like the two girls, Oharu(the one carrying the coconut jelly on chest) and Hibachi. I really think that Oharu should wear glass to become more moe-ish. To think that killing bugs will be the main theme of the rest of the series is that quite depressing though.

They crammed a lot of stuff in 1 episode.. A lot of them.. I believe they will finish around chapter 60-70 for the anime..

I found episode 1 really bad.. The manga was much more enjoyable but Mushi's plot gets better as it goes so I'll wait and see what the anime have more first.. Not sure anyone here read up to chapter 104 as another awesome arc is underway atm.. =D

loved the Ninja Specialist HIbachi

looks like they took a page from samurai girls with all those ink splat censorship, guess this is going for the younger demographic. so i guess it wouldn't be too deep. still it's fun.

also this seems to have one of the better ED songs this season. like much, OP is similar to one of Soul Eater OP. I like the ED better though.

anyway i like it, sorta katanagatari like but different, more action at least ( as to be xpected , that was Nisioisin after all ^^ )

Argh, this absolutely infuriates me. This episode was done really well because they didn't condense the material (this is about only 1 chapter's worth) and that they decided to focus on one character. If they can do that with the supporting cast, why didn't they do the same with the hero ie. the one we're supposed to care most about?

Yeah, this episode is a two thumbs up. Which is a shame, because they could've made a better first impression with the pilot.

Doesn't seem to have a manga thread, it seems.. I follow the manga and the story arc right now is really really nice..
