havent read the raws and have read the thread, so how does the Demon King Modes(?) affect the novel in the later parts? like rarely shows up or actually an active role?
And is Mona(DK's wive) still suspicious of the MC? lastly, do the Hero's party know that Kuroki already Snusnu? edit: what happened to the hair Kuna gave to the goblin queen in exchange for the aphrodisiac?(37th chapter)

reading this on wuhugm rec, and got to middle thought of seeing some impressions and saw this answer of the author:主人公に都合の良い幼馴染を出したくなかったのですが、かなりの不評でめげそうになりました 。小説を書くのは難しいですね(TT*)フフフ
plz i'm only mtl'ing so someone who understands Japanese plz tell me the author isn't going to give silone to the hero cause i'm going to flip the fucking table, how does any development in the story thus far ends with her being in reji's harem in the end, obviously to anyone reading she would be with kuroki in the end, if anything she is just like the millions of mcs in isekai not knowing their own feelings and being stubborn and tsundere but still ending up with harem and here she isn't even going to end up with a harem she will be part of a harem how the fuck do people hate here that's hypocritical tons of mcs are not aware of their heroines feelings and still get loved, why is it any different here, i know i'm still at 50 CH and i see the author is milking this misunderstanding too much(from spoilers it still is a misunderstanding even in the current chapters) (dafuq that should have been cleared way before i'm only at 50 and there have been tons of opportunities to talk but author keeps throwing excuses to not advance that part of plot since he knows its the main attraction of his work but it feels like milking it too much tbh) however it can still be logical if he goes with the flow of his characters and story but if he cave in to this impressions or polls and he does this change out of the blue its gonna fuking suck(even if he makes it like every other novelist a revenge on the childhood friend or her ending a lil miserably but away from mc or any other kind of development to have her not in the mc harem) cause that would make this whole story pointless(it practically built on kuroki having unrequited feeling from silone and that whole misundertanding and it is a misunderstanding, so making it not so would annul the whole why is she looking for him why the does she want to save him and why is she jealous of kuna and regina when she meets her...litterally tons of plot points would be pointless by having her actually love reiji(admiring him and being annoying by comparing him to kuroki is fine but loving him is a whole different beast) thx to wuhugm by the way, but does anyone knows of similar work where their is conlfict and worldbuilding like here but isnt bulit on tons of misunderstanding s like here(that is the only thing holding me from loving it too much(still love it though) but the whole thing unravels when you think about how the whole center of the plot is built around conflicts that 80% of them are just pointless if anybody bothered to stay and actuallly talk to each other without escaping immediatley, also the character of silone is paradoxical i mean i just read her actually describing how the reader feels her relationship with kuroki is and actually becoming aware of the feelings of that omiros has and regina, but then reverting to stupidity when it's related to kuroki, nah that doesn't work that way you can't be aware of subtle feelings that are similar to what you did but still do the same thing you just hated, it's obviously the author trying to evoke frustration from the reader but there are moments like this that feel forced and make the work more irritating than entertaining, also the characterisation sometimes is.. i mean take for example when they(reiji's harem) see the heroes doing exactly what reiji does flirting with every girl... but then say that reiji is special it undermines every thought that was logical they had cause everyone turns stupid at the drop of a hat when it comes to both mc and hero(i mean specially chiyuki and sirone it curbs and destroys what little character developement they had up to that point and undermine their whole thought process when they revert to stupidity when it comes to reiji) still great on the overall though and would recommend anyone on the fence of reading it to give it a try Last edited by aqwzsx; 2018-03-13 at 04:30. |

So the meaning of that author's reply is : He didn't want to make just another convenient Childhood Friend for the MC. You know, that kind who loves the MC unconditionally like 90% of Childhood Friends. So he made a complex character that is Shirone (You wrote Silone, what's that? a steak? lol). But majority of the readers who are dumb prefer exactly shallow Childhood Friend who's madly in love with MC. That's why she's not popular. Shirone is donkan and most of the story told about how she became aware of her feelings. (still not happen yet though)
