I read this one too. I had a feeling this would be the next Manga Time Kirara series to get anime adaptation and I was right.

This is definitely a "quintessential Kirara manga" ... absolutely no surprise to see it get an adaptation.

If you like stuff like GochUsa, KinMosa, or similar things this is more of the same and enjoyable enough fluff. If not? Stay away - don't torture yourself or hope for "unexpectedly profound deeper levels of meanings" here.

I think this was a good start so far.

Cute girls doing manga things. I have been reading the manga and ironically, this series is about cute girls drawing manga. The main cast so far seems to consist of diverse personalities too. What I really like the show so far is the character chemistry though.

Not sure how I fee labotu Kaos yet since she is a bit too shy compared to the others but I think she'll adapt. The art style looks good in terms of quality. We'll probably get the theme songs next time, for OP and ED.

Spoiler for Episode 1:

Pretty good episode. It's one of the rare times where I immensely enjoy a iyashikei series in the same level as some of action series. The characters have varied personalities and their interactions are very amusing. Good, colorful production values and quality soundtrack helped as well.

So far I like Tsubasa for her love of shounen power fantasy manga and Himeko being an adorable tall flat-chested girl that I'm starting to really like that fetish, in spite of working on teen's love manga that aren't my thing. Himeko is a very nice and kind moodmaker but I'm not too used to Kaoruko, she spills spaghetti a lot but I'll probably get used to it if she actually tries to do something.

Looking forward to see how it goes.
