I ordered a Birthday gift for my sister from Amazon and took the chance to order something for myself as well:
Sadly there doesn't seem to be a BluRay version available in the UK so a DVD will have to make do for now (and considering the movie is visually stunning I REALLY wanted the BluRay version).

Precisely. Perhaps a small room specially reserved for my beloved books, where I can sit comfortably on an armchair and sip a cup of tea on a lovely Sunday afternoon while immersing myself in my books. The wallpaper for my little library would be blue and pink poppy flowers.

Well, I bought a new microphone since the internal mic I was using on my laptop has poor quality audio... I manage to pick this up for $49 (refurbished, but still look in good shape), which is only 9 dollars more than the Blue Snowflake. From first impressions, it sounds better.
Spoiler for image size:

Bought a pair of Powell Shoes by Clae to start off the new semester of college. I actually don't like the yellow part at the bottom but it doesn't really matter to me since it won't show unless one actually looks down there. I really like Clae and their models (I wish they were more well known so that they would come out with more models quicker). Not only do they look "high-end" or "fancy," but they are super comfortable.
And also bought K-Swiss Clean Classics for my clinicals

i can see why people are afraid to buy Chinese audio equipment. especially if it's not well-known. but AT headphones are easy to drive anyway, so i took that into consideration when looking at it. if i was using something along the lines of a 60Ω to 600Ω headphone, i wouldn't even look at it. audio-gd is an exception though when it comes to Chinese audio equipment. since my last post i took out the AD797 and put in the LT1028. now the music frequencies are music to my ears without the harshness. i guess my last purchase was buying MGR: Revengeance for the ps3. i've been looking for another fast pace action game since Vanquish |

My last purchase was earphone. The first one I bought was low in quality and found that no Bass sound at all. I went out to the shop again and exchange with the one with better quality. I can't stand to watch anime without a good earphones. My wife told me that the earphone is my tangyoubi no purezento.

Bought a few figures online. Ultra-Act Ultraman Nexus Junis, Ultra-Act Ultraman Tiga Power Type, and Robot Spirits Vox Aura.
Well, my card won't be charged until sometime during the weekday, I think. So I guess that doesn't count as "bought" yet. |

Hardware upgrade is go next week.
RAM: Kingston DDR3 HyperX 1600MHz 8GB Mobo: ASUS P8Z77-V LX, Socket-1155 CPU: Intel® Core i5-3470 3.2Ghz Compared to my now 5+ year old build, apart from the GFX, should be enough of an upgrade to improve things.
