Considering Charles being the child of the president of a big corporation, it isn't surprising there would be a cover.
Heck, since she is a representative candidate (or something close that warrants her a personal machine), it is likely France's governement is behind this charade.

I expect that his ability to pilot an IS will be somehow based on Ichika being part of the group that was used to create the IS in the first place (irregardless of the fact that he'd have been like six at the time).

I could be wrong but didn't houki's sister only make the core not the whole IS.

Anyway, nice episode. Ichika was rather dense, but on further thought, it wasn't quite that odd. He probably barely thinks as Ran as a girl since she's his friends' sister. As for Houki, if a girl I knew comes to my room in the night and screams out that she wants to go out with me in such a serious tone of voice, I'd be surprised too. Loved Chifuyu and Maya's trolling. Laura's intro was fun, yup she's just as i thought she would be.

Pacing was better this ep, didn't feel rushed.
