Right now I'm starting to think that the author has some sort of sick preference for bad / more-bitter-than-sweet endings just like we have seen in his previous work.

Still, I only know about the previous and this work so I'll keep my fingers crossed

Just read the translation of ch 72 on jcafe24, it seems like the real big bad is actually Amane since she called Riku "Richan" which only Amane would call him. It seems like she was manipulating Neene too, now she took over Neene...

I wish someone would translate ch 73 for us. I want to confirm if Amane is the real big bad or not.

Also, I wondered how Riku got SMS from Amane to go to Kazama Hospital from the beginning since she should be dead.

Spoiler: - I guess Riku didn't really sort out his emotional problems during his break. Just found somebody else to latch them on to. Oh well, can't blame him. Would need a lot more time than that. - Riku's infamy status is now the same as Takao's. - You'd figure he would have realized charging ahead on his own like that always ended with them being in an even worse position than they started. One step forward, two steps back. - Yowza, that's Neene. I'm going to need two hands for this.

It seems to me that Amane is the one pulling the string and manipulated Riku. I don't know the reason why she would do that though. There's also the mystery about doctor Kazama who disappeared as well as why he would investigate Amane's birth. I wish someone would translate ch 73 for us.
