Another short, almost done with Ch 19

The three girls resume walking along the rows of stalls, glancing around at the items on sale. Iris has a big teddy bear plushy held over her head, Kirin is holding a heart plushy under her left arm and Tsurugi walks empty-handed, smiling at the other girls as they could not stop looking at their respective soft toys.

“Fuuu… There’s only so much stuffs being sold here.” Kirin remarks with a pout then brushes her short, blonde hair aside.

“Yeah, you’re right. Then again, at least we managed to get something nice out of it.” Iris says to her while looking up to her plushy on top of her head.

“Speaking of which… I think we forgot someone.”

The girls stop then turn to look at each other while trying to recall their missing friend.

“…We totally did, didn’t we?”

“…Crap. And we even asked him to get us drinks too!”

“Oh dear…”

So the screamers basically disrupt electron flow?

Technically Screamer affect all charged particle, but mostly the field that manipulates those particles in the first place.

that's right. because the field is basically the flow of electrons and sub atomic particles. It doesn't affect the charge or anything. It makes sense that the internal wiring could be screwed up.

But that alone won't do, so I need the concept of it's supporting armaments, maybe a conventional weapon or two?

First off: sonic cannons are a must.

Second: conventional weapons if its not a 3rd gen IS.

Well, I can use sonic cannon if only it was allowed (Alaska Treaty natch). Electric weapon is out of the question, but indeed it's a Gen-3 unit....

"So, wanna tell us why in the world are we here again?"

Arms crossed, the eldest one did not move as her two younger siblings came up behind her as she let her practiced gaze roam over the developing battlefield. On the screen overlay, various figures and numbers hovered, some changing others remaining the same, providing real-time data on the fight occuring outside.

"You already know the situation, Madoka-chwan~" Tabane's ever-cheerful voice came through the unseen speakers. "We're here to suppress~ these bad kiddies from using my precious toys like this."

"Tch, but these guys are weak! WEAK! Why don't these countries quit startin' fights if they got such sucky pilots?" Hand on hip, she was a near-mirror image of her elder sister save for her snarky expression.

"Cut it out, Madoka," her brother tried his hand at pacifying his short-tempered sibling. "You know that thanks to Tabane-nee, we got the edge on every fighting force on the planet."

"Yeah yeah, we're unstoppable - big deal," Madoka managed to make her pout appear angry.

"Enough," their elder sister spoke sharply as she turned to face them. "These border skirmishes between these two Middle Eastern countries have escalated to the level were they are using IS tech against each other. Like the idiot bunny said -," here Tabane made a little whimpering sound at that, "we're here to suppress and nullify both sides' IS forces in accordance with the UN statues under which we operate."

"What's our loadout, Chifuyu-nee?"

Chifuyu glanced at her brother. "Standard loadouts apply. There's nothing either side has that will be a considerable threat to us. We'll go with the usual formation as well." Judging by Madoka's huff, Chifuyu surmised that her little sister was peeved off that she was once again relegated to the sniper position. "Hnn, Tabane."

"Haaai~?"

"Is that new rifle ready?"

"Everything's all set to give to Madoka-chwan for a test."

Madoka raised an eyebrow but both Chifuyu and Ichika could see the sparkle in her eye at the mention of new hardware and 'test. "So when was I going to hear of Shinanomo's new toy, eh?"

Chifuyu managed a tiny smirk. "Ah, after you'd stop pouting but I figured you couldn't handle it."

"..." Madoka muttered something under her breath and Ichika cringed as the eldest Orimura's hand shot forward, smashing against Madoka's skull with frightful force.

**This is why we're so good,** Ichika thought internally. **No one else hits us harder than Chifuyu-nee.**

"Get to your ISs and prepare for launch! We sortie in 5!"

"Hai!"
"Hai..."

EDIT: ^ Wait what?

At least I have no problem separating Charles and Charlotte (different people here), Charles was more of a brute fighter similar to Laura or Rito, centered at close combat, whereas Charlotte is no different than canon.

Jinrai Takafumi, the former Praxidike engineer, sits in the café sipping on his cup of coffee.

“What a day… Neverending flow of customers…” He utters to himself then places the cup on the table.

He leans his back against the seat’s backrest, pulling his lab coat off his shoulder and rolls it up then places it on his side. A television on a suspended bracket then flashes the news channel, catching his attention as he looks at the screen with a raised eyebrow.

“Breaking news from across the globe. There has been news of IS attacks on several locations around the world.”

‘IS… attacks?’

Jinrai leans forward and inches himself to the side, closer to the television.

“Civillian reports indicate that the attacks were dealt on military and public locations. We have also received a few raw footages accompanying the aforementioned reports.”

The screen then switches over to recorded footages showing IS units attacking both military and civilian property. The apparent chaos sends chill down his spine as he could only watch in horror at the magnitude of destruction that has taken place.

The video then zooms to one of the attacking ISes and freezes, showing that the said IS seem to resemble the Schwarzer Regen IS.

“Wait… That’s the Germany Cadet’s…”

“As you have seen, the aggressors are believed to be units belonging to the Representative Cadets of the worldwide Infinite Stratos community.”

‘No way… Operation Styx…?’

“The world leaders are currently holding an emergency meeting to discuss about the chain of incidents that has threatened countless of lives across the globe. Please stay tuned as we bring you more updates.”

“Damn it…!” Jinrai cringes then gets off his seat.

One of the waitresses in the café walks over to him with a tray at hand.

“Umm, excuse me—!”

Just as she approaches, he slips out a money note and places it on her tray.

“Keep the change, missy. This café has great services!” He remarks with a gleeful smile then runs out of the café.

Abit more and Ch 19 will be sent on the way.

I only play fallout 1 and 2 due to my PC's pitiful spec.

But considering this is fallout, something like that is not unimaginable.
