That's just hating on feminists and other things like that imo. Strong and independent =/= alone.

P.s: well, I know this is the laughing thread, but that mini-comic just didn't make me laugh. Instead, it got me in the mood for a mini-rant

Sinfest started going downhill ever since the author started the whole feminism thing over a year ago. And when the Sisterhood got involved, it got even worse. Every girl that comes up must now be 'purified' by them, so that they can see how horribly oppressed and objectified they are.

Needless to say, this caused a huge rift between old-time lovers of the comics and those who like the new direction the series was going. Those who speak up against it are now labeled 'anti-feminist', or are otherwise mocked and ridiculed. I stopped reading the comic series after a while, because I didn't find the whole crusade against the Male Gaze funny.

I never knew that was about an actual comic. And a feminist one at that. So that's a drawing against said comic? If so, I can see where the humor comes from. I thought it was just a guy drawing something to make fun of women, but extreme feminism...you can make as much fun of that as you want for all I care. Like all extreme things actually.

He does both. Sinfest has been around for a very very very long time. He makes fun of religion, chauvanists, feminists, environmentalists, hipsters..

And then when the issue of feminism came around, he stopped being funny and started being apologetic to that cause. Whereas with the other issues he parodied both sides of an issue until presenting it in a fairly moderate light, with feminism it's just been all about the feminism cause.

Wut? Srsly? Pro-feminism? Not balanced? As a long-time fan of Sinfest - I think you're maybe being a tad too sensitive about the topic.

Oh look, poking fun at women not being safe in a male world -- feminism, ho! -- but still smirking at women worrying about being under-dressed and neurotic!?

Yeah, after over a year's worth of the Sisterhood comics, I do claim he's not being balanced about it. The odd joke about it every once in a while hardly makes up for it.

In other news...

The result of such attempt by JPMorgan was pretty much obvious.
I can't really tell which ''question'' was the best...

Old generation businesses trying the new form of social media = bad.

Nevertheless humourous. The only biz I know that can pull it off are media publishers.

A programmers wife told him to go to the store and pick up a loaf of bread. If they have eggs, get a dozen.

The programmer comes back with 12 loaves of bread.
