Please PM me the CG set link.... Thanks..
Okay back to the topic, GG is really good... however its just too short to even call it 1 month and a half... Sigh... I do hope it liscensed.. since the show alone is quite entertaining but in a viewer's view, its just too short for it to get liscensed.. This anime is more like a Fan service than the actual story (that's what I think) again does anyone know where to buy the green green game? |

I might be a little late on this thread, but so what.
I recently finished the series, and I've actually been thinking about the ending, so it's crazy ppl actually started a post. I had no idea it was that popular. As for the sequel, they're releasing something called Green Green erolutions (or Green Green 13) sometime next summer. Unfortunately, it appears to be a hentai or something to that extent. On the series, I thought it was awesome. I found the ending rather philosophical despite the earlier lightheartedness, but thought it made good work of a possibly-unrealistic ending. I'm unfortunately one of those big Midori fans (personally, I think she's hotter than Futaba) so I thought the ending was great. IMO she did change her destiny-- a part of her is with him forever. Furthermore, I have to say that the ending left quite a bit open for a sequel. Tho the baka trio didnt end up hooking up with any of the girls (and thank God they didn't), I'm sure that Futaba remembers what happened (I find it unusual for her to not be able to remember why she followed a guy with a concussion out into the rain to stare at a tree for an hour.) and certainly will reflect on it. And in the end, Yusuuke says that if the girls come back, he'll be there to greet them (almost implying that they will). |

heh, the one thing that really had me rolling on the floor was the absolutely over the top enka song of the outro; sheesh, talk about a passionate interpretion of this title! Too bad it wasn't translated in shinsen's version...

Green Green licensed
According to animeondvd.com, Green Green TV has been licensed by Media Blasters... I have to say, I never expected this series to be licensed...

Holy frick and fraq, I can't believe it was licensed either. I would've imagined something tamer like Da Capo or Shuffle! licensed long before this. I saw this show very recently. It's not a great show, and pretty lewd, but I certainly laughed a lot.
Somehow, I doubt they'll license episode 13 or those character episodes. |

Comedy, fanservice (esp. adult anime), action, sci-fi or fantasy (RPG/supernatural) are the genres of ren'ai game anime that get picked up for R1. The "boring", real-life drama ren'ai game anime (the anime I often like the most) take longer to get picked up (if ever).
I wonder how many years must pass before Kanon, AIR and KimiNozo become cheap enough to get picked up for R1? Limuiro Senkitan seems a good candidate to get picked up earlier because it has more of the above elements in it. |
