Question Japanese School Uniforms

Perhaps someone could help me a little: I've been looking around in the net in search for information regarding those dark-colored school uniforms for male students. (The likes of Sagara Sosuke wears in FMP)
Does anybody know their name or where you could purchase any outside Japan? Links to pics/sites are appreciated ... I swear to God I googled it, but as soon as you request "school uniform" and "Japanese" you get swamped with links to Asian sailor-suit fetish sites. That's not exactly what I had in mind.

Kind Regards / Thanks for your help!

Well, the uniforms are very expensive, even when you buy them here.
I'm pretty sure J-list only sells the uniforms at slightly above cost.

I think kj has mentioned before that uniform represents the status of a school. So the more expensive the uniform is, the more prestigious the school is right?

If the uniform's a requirement, sure. At least there won't be any competition among the students on who's wearing the latest - and expensive and sic. - fashions. Hmm; kj1980's total cost number isn't too bad - that and also when you add in multiple shirts and pants for spares - IMHO. Even for a single year's wear.

/me misses my school uniform... the days, at least.

Umm, school shoes?? The ones that you wear inside the school, and not the ones you wear to and from the school, yes?

This was an article about school uniforms in the Japan times a couple of months ago.
With that kind of money involved, I can see how this could make some people happy.

Once sign of rigid conformity, girls' sailor suits now a fashion statement

Hiked up the skirt length by rolling down the fabric in the waist area.

Yes, I miss my female classmates wearing our school's blazer. It matched really well with the dark-blue skirt.

Yes, I'm talking about uwabakis. Remember those when you forget to take them home during summer break?

I knew girls who use to cosplay into japanese school sailor outfit for sex desire. You can find those at the XXX shop for a lower price and the quality of the material is way much better then in that website. Yes they have been made to support sweat so yeah ive seen pretty ones with wings and they also sell Pitaten Neko Mimi pijamas made of cotton

Anyways you must be 18

When I went to Japan, I was dead surprise to discover that most girls' school uniform skirts were just as short as depicted in, say GTO for instance......
Sure there are some girls with longer skirts but most of the wear it terribly short, their top tended to be slightly to transparent too.... And then one wanders why there are so many unifrom fetichists in Japan
