Speaking of bullet-proofing - if even their jumping horses are bullet-proof, why haven't they armored their busses?

Is the bus specifically butei bus? because the driver isn't a butei or an instructor in butei. From my opinion. Maybe it's just an ordinary bus that's been hired by butei high.

Considering it's crammed every day with butei, I'd say it's a lot more critical than jumping horses.

that's true too but from the way it's portray. it looks like a regular bus that comes in time. Like a bus that enter a city and out of the city. Since it goes from the dormitory to the rainbow bridge and to the school but even it can also go to other parts of tokyo.

and is a bullet resistant glass can withstand a rain of bullets from uzi? because I only remember the glass in the door and window are the ones broken and no the body of the bus (source material wise)

The bullets pierced the metal of the bus.

I WANT THAT MEIDO ARIA AND KNIGHT JEANNE CHIBIS.

also, Hikari is obviously dying to have a body pillow *omitted* (IDC IF IT COSTS MUCH. I WILL ORDER EET!)

usually, the bus walls arent that thick, and the UZI is noted to be a CQB rapist before.

question: firstly, did the whole thing take place on the school grounds? secondly, what bridge is that? a bridge that connects the island to the mainland, or a bridge on the island?

I'm guessing bridge to mainland since they said something about forcing the bus to drive to a place with lots of civilians.

bridge to the mainland.

Butei high is 2 artificial island connected by rainbow bridge.

The bus is forced out of the island and into mainland. It's heading to odaiba.

Not much point in calling it "bullet-proof" if it can't. Uzi fire pistol-caliber bullets.

but even it's a bullet resistant glass if it's been rain by bullets wouldn't it still break? the chances are how big for it to break? plus is the bus even bullet resistant or a part of butei? or just a hired bus?

It's about as resistant as cardboard. I was asking why, when they bothered to gym equipment. I mean, if you want to kill a lot of butei, where are you going to attack them? In the middle of their school, when they're busy hiding in a jumping horse, or when they're in transit, packed like sardines in a tin can?

ok, that's marginally acceptable I guess. I mean the bus was sure running out of ground on the 2kmx500m island.

There's also the Russian 7N21 variant of the 9x19mm cartridge it chambers. The 7N21 is an over-pressurized round specifically made to defeat low-mid grade body armor.

Once again people, there's no such thing as 'bullet proof', there's only 'bullet resistant'.

The right kind of bullet can go through anything.

On the issue of armoring the bus, anyone from even a slight military background can tell you that the upper echelons have their own way of seeing things and most of the time budgets don't get spread out evenly as we want them to do- this is normal. At the same time there's nothing that doesn't suggest the students themselves armored the gym equipment to be used in ways the makers never intended, of course they would have to pay for it themselves.

Then again, isn't it a simplier answer that the Butei has no control over how the public buses decorate their vehicles? Even government organizations hire private contractors and what not. And when you armor a vehicle, you have to spend even more money to buy a better engine and suspension and many things to support the increased load- Titanium plating don't grow on trees.

The gym equipment is bullet-proof because the gym serves as butei training ground, where they have gunfights against each other. So Kinji 's really lucky to land right inside the jumping box.

I wonder why I always use the term 'bullet proof'. I blame Chow Yun Fat and his monk character

Ahem... so, I like Aria's legs.
