wow.............. hands down on it's awesome graphics and animation. I know I already saw it in the previews pv but the accel world is really deliciously played.

Hoh... It was pretty interesting. Well, the setting, anyways. I can't say the characters were though. A pig, some friend that likes the pig for some reason, net addict that needs to speak more JP than Engrish jargon, and stereotypical punks x 3.
Though setting-wise, the fact one attack took down 3/4 of his HP was a bit... yeah... Well, maybe if the rest of the battles turn out this way too... Umm...

I wondered what was with the deformed protagonist when I saw the key image for this anime, but to think he actually looked like that... And to think he would make his avatar a pig. His self-confidence must be even lower than a pig's.

Though thinking too hard on the setting scares me. So apparently this game allows you to basically slow down time in real life, but if some random kids have it, what is going on in the world? And Einstein said we'd be fighting with sticks and stones in the future...
Also, to be honest, isn't this story about some net game addicts? And a net addict trying to pull someone else into their world? Hiiii~~~ Welcome to Moonside. Wel come to moo nsi ns dem oons ide.

the avatar wasn't intentional on his part. iirc one of his bullies took the one he designed and gave him that pig one for him to use.

man, Yuuki Kaji's voice is totally wasted on Haruyuki. It just doesn't suit him. At all.

That second preview sure is interesting
As it should reflect the final anime very well, it gives us also datailled size information. Here's a screenshot, showing us that the male mc is now indeed in permanent SD mode, with his eyes at the height of the girl's skirts, just as it is on the official site:

Though as I clarified on the last page, it's not permanent. Whether that is animators error or something else is anybodies guess.

Hey, that was fun (the first two episodes in preview form). I thought Kaji Yuuki's voice suited the character perfectly. Maybe because they made no bones about the character being a weak little piglet.

But the main reason I was interested in this show was to hear Misawa Sachika in her first major role, as Kuroyukihime. And for me, she passed with flying colours: a touch of pleasant normalcy blended in with the ojou-sama voice.

Spoiler for Episodes 1-2:

Just watched the first two episodes : Haruyuki looks so different to other Kaji's characters, and his voice suits in a unexpected way. Also, this is the first time I can see Misawa doing a full-fledged main role as Kuroyukihime. There's plenty of explainations about the Accel World's game, filled with some connections within the real world (makes me think of Black Rock Shooter). Other than that, a good impression on the first episodes of this show.

Saw the pre air. Animation is good. I read the manga so i already got some idea of the storyline. And I like the OP, I usually don't like most of the anime songs lately anymore since I like more of the mainstream jpop stuffs now but I like this one.

Pretty much got what I expected,a solid action shonen.
The accel world is like something similar to dennou coil technology but used for a very different purpose lol.
The whole Haruyuki/Kuroyukihime/Chiyu situation gives me Air Gear vibes with Ikki/Simca/Ringo trio though Kuroyukihime is so far not as teasing as Simca.
Speaking of Kuroyukihime they've done a nice job of making me intrigued about her past,that's defintly one reason to keep watching.

The first two episodes definitely catch my interest. The MC has some good deductive skills and correctly guesses Kuroyukihime's motives into manipulating him right away and accepts it.

From 1st 2 episodes, Accel World definitely did get accelerated. Very fast pace, wasted no time to get into the action, and well, as usual, the most useless dude in the world have girls lusting all over

At least there won't be heroine controversy, since Kuroyukihime is definitely better than Chiyuri so far. On the other hand, I actually thought Chiyuri was voiced by HanaKana for awhile...damn you Gundam AGE...

Well I'm sold I knew I was going to like this series back when it was first announced and I have to say I was not disappointed. I also admire the main character for taking that hit and getting the bully expelled. While most would have abused his new ability he took the high road.

Interested in why Kuroyukihime has her original avatar sealed. Maybe it has something to do with her request. Lol when he got run over. Not only did Arita reject her but now he has Chiyuri fighting with her.

I wish he abused his ability a little bit, as few wimp characters actually seem to, and I prefer to see more of that.

With that said, the main is annoying, but he looks like Cartman and can be funny, so I'll cut him some slack.
