But at the moment, I think just a slight corruption of the names is enough. Seriously, Nanoha is a name of a guy a contact of mine in Japan knows.

Hayate can be Hayate since there's Hayate the Combat Butler.

And I wanted Fate to be Ferrari actually, since that's supposedly where her name came from. Maybe I should. =3

Yuuna on the way! You won't believe how many Genderbent images of him are out there! The only problem is selecting a proper one for her...

Ever since he received Raising Heart from Yuuna, Nanoha has been in a dramatic ride of his life, far wilder than he has ever imagined. With the staff of destruction in one hand, and his unyielding courage in the other, he welcomed Keroro from the cold, woke Feito from his misguided quest, helped Hayate find his his way... Nothing touched by his pink beams of friendship ever came away the same.

When Kha-chan was first introduced to the group as Hayate's guard from the Church, she sparked Nanoha's interest as she was the first girl who wasn't lavishing him with gifts and love notes. However, the F4 soon discovered the reason behind Kha's permanent coldness, and in their own way, each Ace helped her find her heart once more.

An unfortunate accident that resulted in him being put out of action for almost a year mellowed his hot-blooded nature a little. After that, Nanoha took his lesson to his work and strives to spread the word of "doing your best while watching yourself" to all of his cadets. And his warmth and approachability won him many fans among cadets and colleagues alike.

In the year MC 0075, Nanoha is 19 years old and the primary Combat Instructor for the Lost Property Riot Force 6, a subsidarial experimental unit under Time-Space Administration Bureau's Special Management. The White Devil is also the commander of record for the "Stars" squad in the field. And Nanoha is a mild Psion, although a product of accident than evolution.

We got her superior right here with us. Any comments miss Signum?”

”Your cape is wrinkled.”

”Bwehehe~ What a relationship. The woman we see here claims to be another Selshin magic user, yet we haven't seen her cast anything yet. You do remember the another one? Yes, I'm talking about Aren Genran, the man who managed a double knockout on our favorite girl Fate Testarossa. And now we see another Selshin fighter in front of us. Miss Signum are all Selshin fighters as monsters as these two? And how come they have started appearing now?”

”RF6 just gained a new unit with total of four Selshin fighters and their combat potentials are currently unknown but they should be equal or greater than hers. And your another question is classified information.”

”Who-ho-hoo~ Like RF6 needed anymore reinforcements. But now that she has shown exeptional talent, shall we introduce her properly now?”

The crowd cheered as an answer.

”This woman got here by a personal reguest from miss Signum. Give a round of applaudes for Miachell Del Relesh, also known as Desired Age. Why Desired Age, miss Signum?”

”She wears no clothing under her cape, thus the name desired. Age was her previous organizations codename for her.”

”Who-ho-hoo~ How bold! So the RF6 has managed to convert yet another organization for TSAB. How do they do it? Let's all give another round of applaudes for the magnificent performance of Miachell and hope she comes back soon.”

”That's it?” Miachell groaned in the middle of a large circular arena. Signum knew about Miachell's excalating bloodlust so she had brought her here, to the Coluem, which was one of most favored forms of entertainment in Mid-Childa. It started out when people came watching mock battles held by TSAB. Now these fights are held for practise, money and broadcasting. Miachell, as a first timer, got a special permission to use the arena for her medical condition.

”We can't have you dominating the whole day. Do join us on some other day. Now on to the next fight...”

”Well my battlelust is pretty settled already.” Miachell flexed and walked out from the area.

”Nice show Miachell-san.” A man cheered in the narrow hallways under the arena.

”Don't get too cocky because you did well today.” Another man winked at her.

Ignoring the comments Miachell walked out of the preparing areas to the front gate where Signum was waiting for her.

”How was it?” Signum asked when Miachell got close enough.

”Fun.” Miachell beamed and the two woman began walking side by side in the streets of Cranagan. Even that Signum owned a car, they had decided to walk. The weather was great, it was vacation and walking gave the two more time to catch up. ”Why did you forbid transformation?”

”If people knew about you being a bear, a crazy bear that is;" Signum added and Miachell humphed loudly."we could have been forced to transfer you into some research department.” Signum explained with a smile.

”Hmm...” Miachell hummed. ”That wouldn't be too good.”

Signum agreed with silence.

”You still mad about that village I smashed?” Miachell broke the silence.

”What village?” Signum inquired the woman next to her.

”You know... That village I destroyed just before the book got finished.” Miachell answered awkwardly.

”We don't have memories of the events just before the finishing of the book.”

”You don't?” Miachell blinked. ”What about all those taunts back in the temple about me failing?” She questioned angrily.

”Those were just taunts. You still lack resolve.” Signum laughed.

”That was because of a Thought gem I used.” Miachell regained her pose.

”You used a Thought gem? Why?”

”I'm much easier to deal with when I'm crazed but it backfired as I couldn't turn back.” The two walked undistracted by the converstation.

”I know.” Signum nodded. ”That's why I was taunting you in the first place.” She smiled gently. ”By the way, what were you saying about a village?”

”I...” Miachell hesitated. Only Signum could do this to her. She was the only person she had ever looked up to. ”I kinda destroyed a village and killed everybody in there.” She waited for scolding and punishment with her head down.

Signum fell silent as to think what to do. ”Let me guess, animal rights?” She grinned and Miachell nodded while poking her fingers together. ”That sure sounds a lot like you.”

”Huh?” Miachell lifted her head.

”The past is in the past. Believe me, I've done a lot worse.” Signum reminenced. ”Sorry if those words hurt you. But looking at how you were back then, of course overlooking your battlegrazed attitude, I'd say you're in the right path.” She brushed the woman's long hair.

”Right path? Aha~ So these 400 years haven't gone to waste.” Miachell laughed.

”No complaining. I've been alive much longer and I'm not finished either.” Signum winked.

”I remember you saying something that there is no true chivalry. So nobody will be knight other than by title. We can only try.”

”But it's worth it.” Signum finished and the blue curtain of silence fell over the two woman again.

The top notch karaoke set had been pulled out from it's hiding. Everybody had been taken in by the mood and waited anxhiously for their turn to sing. Only now they realized how much food they had made and how badly they mixed together but nobody complained, the food wasn't the main dish.

”Lanlai-chan.” Linque gestured Lanlai to come closer.

”Yes?” Lanlai asked when the two couldn't be heard.

”There was a storm last night, you ok?” Linque gave a worried look at Lanlai.

”I'm ok. I had Caro-chan with me.” Lanlai took a sip from her drink.

”Thought so...” Linque walked back to his seat to wait for his turn.

”Lanlai-chan you shouldn't be drinking!” Shamal scolded and took the drink away from the girl.

”Give me my drink back. I have marvelous alcohol tolerance.” The girl attempted to reach her glass.

”Lanlai-chan, you are in still growing. Drinking is bad for you.” Shamal emptied the glass to her mouth. ”*Cough**Cough* What was that?”

”Whiskey. Never tasted?” Lanlai asked innocently.

”Nobody taught you alcohol is bad for you?” Shamal asked, still coughing from the throath burning whiskey.

”I never had parents or caretakers. Not that it would have really mattered.” Lanlai shrugged. ”Now give my glass back.” She began jumping again.

”You had nobody to teach you?” Shamal put the glass away and crouched to Lanlai's level.

”Only combat. Linque-nii and Miachell-nee taught me some things but mostly I taught myself.” Lanlai answered.

”Taught yourself?” Shamal backed from the shock. ”That's horrible.”

”It wasn't that bad. Same-nii did it also. It may not look like it but I'm actually a year older than him.” Shamal guided Lanlai to the side. Some noticed this but decided not to interrupt. ”Both of us molded ourselves to the person we wanted to be. Sure there were some interruptions but mostly everything was done by ourselves.” She continued to explain.

”Self-education from birth?” Shamal confirmed even more shocked. If this had happened in current time, she would be running to the family and take care of them.

”Neither of us saw Linque or Miachell as a figure too look up to so we created a person in our minds we wanted to be.” Lanlai explained with accuracy and intelligence unseen on an 11 year old. Even that she had spent 400 as an immortal, shouldn't her mind be any further developed than a child's.

”I'm glad you ended up pretty well. But was there really nobody to look after you?”

”Lots of people. But nobody thought of us as childs in need of parents.” Lanlai lifted her shoulders. ”You could say we had no role models. We were only taken after.”

”Alright.” Shamal rose up and flexed her back, accepting the fact that there was nothing she could do about it anymore. ”One more question. How did Same-san end up like that?” She asked with amused tone.

”You better ask him. I have no idea.” Lanlai crossed her arms.

”Fair enough.” Shamal rose again. ”Shall we return?” She opened the door to the hall where the karaoke was held.

”Can I have my glass back?” Lanlai walked through the door.

”Silly girl.” Shamal brushed the girl's hair.

”Aren-nii!” Lanlai yelled when she saw a suited man in the room.

”There you were.” Aren watched the little girl run to him. ”You haven't grown an inch.” The man picked the girl up.

”Neither have you.” Lanlai smiled in the arms of the man.

”Sorry I couldn't greet you in the temple and locked myself to the room in Claudia.” Aren apologized.

”You and your prior engagements.” Lanlai pouted, puffing her cheeks.

”How have you been?”

”Oh, yeah. Those two were siblings.” Subaru recalled, watching this.

”Yup.” Same sat next to the woman after his song. ”Pretty close also.” He reminenced.

”Hum...” Subaru hummed from interest. ”Elder siblings are great indeed.” She stated, remembering her own big sister.

”Older?” Same asked with suprised tone. ”Those two are twins.” He threw the rest of his taco to his mouth.

”Twins?!” Subaru yelled to Same before turning towards Aren and Lanlai. ”Oh yeah. Immortality.” She realized and sat down again.

”Sucks, eh?”

”If it sucks so bad, why did you accept it in the first place?” Subaru asked.

”It was cool back then and nobody asked me.” Same rose from the chair. ”I'm getting some more food. Want anything?”

”I'll come with you. It's not that far away.”

”Aaaand our next singer is... Yuuno-kun!” Nanoha announced after the wheel of fortune had stopped.

”I sure am lucky. I just got here.” Yuuno flexed and walked to the stage.

”Go for it ferret boy.” Aren cheered.

”Ferret?” Miachell opened her eyes in a corner with Signum.

”You can clearly see that this is Nanoha's list.” Yuuno shuffled through the catalogue, grinning.

”Yuuno-san, were you that ferret running in Claudia?!” Miachell questioned loudly while walking towards the man.

”Um... Yes I was.” Yuuno answered hesitantly.

”I knew there was something strange in you.” Miachell grabbed Yuuno on her shoulder and stormed out of the room.

”Ehm... Next singer.” Nanoha jumped back on the stage.

I've actually been juggling the idea around in my head for the past couple months. The thing about some of my writing is I get the ideas and maybe an ending...but I have a hard time filling in the stuff between the start and the end . The general story concept, why the TSAB gets interesting in their world, incorporation of Lost Logia...are pretty much all figured out. Writing it into a palatable story on the other hand...

“Nanoha!” Yuuno appeared now, leaning over his desk and cheering her on. “Stand up! Fight! Believe in yourself.”

Again the girl tried to move the robot. “Come on,” She spoke again, taking comfort in her own voice. “Stand... Stand!” Her hands went to her face, clawing at the invisible hold on her, screaming suddenly from the feeling. EVA-01, code named “Raising Heart” was hauled to it's feet by it's face. The large demonic figure she was fighting gripped harder, making the girl in the cockpit scramble desperately to try and stop it. “Help! HELP ME!”

Pain.

A searing hot white flash of pain.

A long white steam of energy soared from the Angel's hand, sailing into Raising Heart's forehead. Again it retreated, again it flared forward, again Nanoha cried out desperately.

“Help me,” She sobbed, back arching as she felt the pain again. “help me, help me!”

Her eyes widened, the armor on her mech shattered, the energy came again to kill her.

Nanoha opened her eyes, panting heavily as she awoke. Shaking pupils looked around the room, seeing nothing but white. A hospital room. Slowly she calmed down and tried to get her breathing back. Eyes staring above her, she could only think of one thing: “An unfamiliar ceiling...”

No fair! Stealing my cross-over . Though that wasn't exactly what I had in mind...

Bleh...where's a small short of what I had in mind. Just a warning I just came up with this and is not canon yet in my fic

How had it come to this? A world so similar to Nanoha's and yet...the pain, the suffering that the residents of this world had to endure. It was something that she wouldn't wish upon anyone. No one deserved this. Yet...it was done to them by their fellow man. THAT is what frightened them the most. Over half the population killed in a single day and even more in the aftermath. And now...they continue to fight to survive against something that they don't understand. With children...no older then her. Why?

The entire underground facility shook. Then...it came. Dirt and steel exploded above and rained down in massive pieces on the Geofront floor. Right on que, the bright streaks of tracers flew towards the approaching enemy. Missiles flew from the defensive bunkers around the black pyramid. Everyone who was witnessing the barrage knew it was hopeless...but they fired anyway in hopes of it working. Of it doing something. Between the giant creature dubbed an 'Angel' and the pyramid stood one of the few things that would counter it. It's massive red form fired from two massive bazookas at the Angel descended. Those quickly ran dry and Evangelion 02 tossed them aside to pic up another pair next to it and resumed firing.

Zeruel, the Angel of Might did not falter. It's AT Field remained active and showed no signs of giving in to the barrage of conventional weapons even with the Evangelion's AT Field at full power. It landed and observed the obstacle for a moment. A moment was all it took for it to reach a decision. It's 'arms' unfolded like sheets of paper. She saw it and knew what it was going to do. The pilot of the Evangelion, on the other hand, didn't as she was too absorbed in her frustration and blinded by her pride. The pilot only had the chance to blink before the arms shot out at incredible speeds. Then...pain. PAIN. Blue-ish blood erupted from the Evangelion's severed arm. It's head turned up in a silent scream as its other arm clutched where the limb once was. Although the Evangelion made no noise, her screams echoed throughout the command center. A blood-curling scream.

Another cry echoed out. It echoed through the Geofront and through the speakers within the command center. All eyes turned towards the monitor of the Angel. It's left 'arm' was spazing, oozing its blood from where it was severed.

"Wha...what just happened?! Get me a playback NOW!" shouted Misato, going back to her director mode.

"Playing back the last attack on the main monitor now!"

Trained eyes watched the footage, looking for what had caused the Angel's pain. The painful screams of her young charge weren't helping as she tried to maintain her integrity.

"There!"

The video was paused, showing the moment just after the Angel's arm was severed.

"Rewind slowly..."

All eyes watched closely, looking for whatever it was the Major saw in the video. At first there was nothing...

"Stop!"

There, on that suspended moment of time a bright yellow streak showed on the screen. A slow replay showed that streak coming from off screen and then cleaving clean through the Angel's 'arm.'

"I want to know where that came from!"

"MAGI are running trajectory calculations now...bringing up general location on screen."

Her eyes darted over the screen, looking for whatever it was that attacked there Angel. Given how long it took them to notice it, it was probably gone by now or had changed locations.

"Zoom in on Quadrant 1!"

The external cameras zoomed in. At first there was only the Geofront sides and trees. Then something came into view. Something small.

"I-is that a...person?"

Even at maximum zoom, the image was blurry. They could still make out what appeared to be a person floating in the air. Long blond hair wearing some kind of dark, maybe black outfit and white cape of sorts. The figure was holding something in her hands. A staff or sorts maybe.

"What the hell...?"

Hello everyone, I'm a long time lurker who finally got around to writing my own story - which I've worked very hard at keeping within the realms of the canon that the A's and StrikerS manga, along with the canon of StrikerS itself.

I thought that I'd offer it up for anyone who was interested to read. It's a major work in progress, but the first part was so long that I thought that I'd go ahead and start posting.

The TSAB discovers a powerful Lost Logia on Earth and attempts to retrieve it without much success until Admiral Chrono Harlaown proposes that his sister and her best friend, both of whom have a great deal of experience on the planet, go undercover and retrieve it through stealth. This would be a great plan, save for the fact that the Lost Logia seems to have settled in a high school - a greater foe than Fate or Nanoha have ever faced.

Made a review, but might as well post here too. I like the beginning to your story, the details provide a good background to what may come up in the future. Slightly long-winded at some points, but then again so was Tolkien, and I loved his stories, so not a big deal hehe

Read it. I think your opening dragged on a bit, but we'll see how it progresses. I don't see why you have a problem explaining Nanoha's absence from school for a year. She can be an exchange student at the time.
